Hi, i just booked 1 night at CoCoKey Water park --

We r going on a Friday - hoping it won't be that crowded..anyway - they said we could get to the water park at opening..i've never been to an indoor water park - should i pack a bag w/towels and a change of cloths? can i bring in any drinks? thinking we'll probably have lunch their - then after our room is ready, we can change about dinner time and go to eat someplace close - what is around their?

As for the next day - do they have someplace close by to grab bkfast cheaply like a mcdonalds? they said we need to go into the water park b4 checking out and get our hands stamped then we could checkout and come back in - so should i bring the same again towels and a change of cloths inside..guess i'll have to bring 2 sets of towels so they will be dry?

is their any reasonabe places to eat inside? any other tips?

thank u

You didn't say which Coco Key you were going to, but I can tell you that the one in Danvers, Mass has signs stating "no outside food/drinks". But I always pack drinks and snacks in my "beach bag". Danvers, and I beleive all of them, have a bar which serves food, I got a salad which wasn't too expensive and was ok, ($7.00-$9.50 or so).

They also have an A&W Rootbeer with Pizza Hut which is INCREDIBLY Slow

Have fun!

Going to mT. Laurel, NJ.

Can u leave ur "beach bag" at a table or does it have to go into a locker?

We go to the Mt Laurel Coco Keys and we get a locker for the change of clothes and shoes. They have signs that say no outside food or drink but people bring in drinks especially for the kids. There is a Bob Evans across the street and within 1/2 mile there is a McDonalds, Chili's, Cracker Barrel, and Burger King. You're on a main road with a turnpike entrance so there are a lot of places around. They have towels to use while you're there and they have a bar, Pizza Hut, and A+W inside. You can leave a beach bag on the table we do all the time. Just a tip it is HOT and HUMID inside so be prepared, plus to enter you have to go past the arcade.

great thanx...and i love Crackler Barrel!

i will bring a beach bag w/a couple of drinks. is their enough towels or do u also bring ur own? is the water warm? i'm not an indoor pool person - do u enjoy it as much as the kids? also do u sit down and let the kids run around alone? is it safe?

My DD is 8 and I usually bring her and a few friends for the day. I grab a table and let them know where I will be sitting. It's safe, I let them go and play but they have to at least stay in pairs. The water is warm, in fact so warm that my DD and friends go to the hot tub which is half outside and go to the outside area to cool down (it's fenced in and can only be accessed through the hot tub from inside). I'm usually the only adult so I bring my book and laptop. The water slides and play area are more geared towards younger kids. There are many moms sitting in the water along the edges in chaise lounges. They also have a lazy river which adults glide through. One big thing if your kids wear the rash guard type bathing suit shirt have an extra suit because they won't allow them to go down the water slides in rash guards.
