Cocktails (and Beers) - sitting in pictureseque setting either Universal/IOA?

Where would you go for a little cocktail or a quiet beer (Lager!!) inbetween attractions during the day. Somewhere picturesque inside or outside - if outside........nice tables with parasols?

How 'bout in IOA behind Enchanted Oak Tree, there's a table spot that juts out a little over the water (where Skipper Tours boat used to dock). Late p.m. is a sweet time to sit & chill. Gotta run inside for your drinks tho, no waitresses!

There are a couple of tables outside the backwater bar which we sat at as the park closed & enjoyed happy hour in USO chef alctraz is great spot to relax

We enjoyed a drink outside at Chez Alcatraz last summer. They had a guy playing the guitar and singing. It was a great way to relax for a few minutes.

Chez Alcatraz sounds nice too! Can't remember if I have been there or not. I think I went in the Backwater Bar to cool off when it was really hot and humid - I remember drinking a pint (quite unusual for me - usually cocktails and wine) I was just so thirsty - and it was heaven!!!

Gotta say it again. The outdoor area at the "airplane" bar across from Margaritaville. Get a table in the back, overlooking the water.

My favorite is probably sitting at the cornor table in backwater bar by the window. You can watch the Hulk and people watch and enjoy happy hour.

You are welcome to sit at my table until I get Universal passes again. But when I get passes again I want my table back !!!

Ahh, but now I just buy my $7.25 beers at Epcot, sit in England and reminise about Universal's Happy hour(


By the way - that new smily drinking the Guiness is the best!!
