Someone told me that when they go to the Beach Club resort that they sit by the pool and have someone bring them drinks. We stayed there and never saw anyone. Has anyone seen someone taking drink orders by the pool?

I have seen servers walking around the pool area taking orders and delivering food and drink. It may only be at certain times or in certain areas. We were seated pretty much in the middle of the SAB complex and close to Hurricane Hanna's.

We were there 2 weeks ago on a Saturday and saw a cocktail waitress once all day. She admitted she was the only one on duty - not sure why as SAB was absolutely at capacity on a Saturday afternoon. I'm sure several waitresses could have been kept plenty busy.

We have seen them in previous trips. Our last trip, we never saw a waitress and the pool was jammed.

We have always seen servers around SAB during our July trips to WDW.

Once though, a server took my teenage DD's order & then NEVER returned with it - even though DD was stationed at her lounge chair and never moved from it, & the server was still on duty for the next several hours. Even if she were a kid, I felt like, "Why take her order if you're not going to return with it?"

I have had poolside service at all the deluxes I have used the pool at. It is hit and miss though. The best poolside service was at AKL. I swear that guy would not let me get out of my pool chair as he kept coming over and asking what we wanted.

I've rarely seen them at the very far end of the pool near the slide at the BC end; but I've always seen them near Hurricane Hanna's and that end of the pool area, closer to the Yacht club. By the way, they make the best pina coladas around--ask for one with an extra shot of rum! Same for AKL--the best!!!

They're there, sort of like finding a lion at Kilimanjaro Safari! Just got back home today. Found it to be quicker to either go get our own drinks at "Hurricane Hannah's" or up to the room an make a cocktail!

We always use this service at BCV. We never have a problem getting anyone to wait on us. You do have to wave them down. Generally there are at least 2 working.

I have seen them on my last 2 trips last year...We were sitting over in the sinking sands area not too far from Hurricaine hannahs

I saw a couple of servers last summer at SAB. I got the impression that about a dozen servers were needed for the crowd there. The people on duty were totally overwhelmed.

We did get served once by the server-it was nice not having to get up and make the trek to Hurricane Hannah's!!!

There was one there in Feb. She never came near me. I was so bummed. There had to be maybe 20 people around the pool and she spent her whole time talking to a couple on the other side. Had she turned around I would have tried waving. My young son was playing in the sand/water and I could not get up to get a drink unless I dragged him too. He was not moving :)

1) Yes, they have them.
2) Ours was very nice.
3) We told her
. . . if plastic drink glass in our hand was empty, refill it
. . . if plastic drink glass in our hand fell to ground, stop
