Right now my CH is at Boardwalk and my Reception at AAR. I would love to try to make it simple and have both events at Epcot due to the need for transportation.

I don't want to have the CH outside because my wedding is in July in Orlando. I'd like to keep air conditioning in the picture.

I started doing some digging and realized there was a lounge in Spaceship Earth but my planner's assistant informed me that it isn't under Disney's control anymore so DFTW can't use it.

Does anyone know anything about the Odyssey? My fiancee suggested looking into it and it seems like it's set up for events.

If not, any other ideas for a inside CH at Epcot???

Thanks yall!!

Is the odyessy the big place on the walkway between like test track and world showcase? Unless you are having a really big wedding it probably wouldn't be my first choice, just because the space is so big and I feel like it would be hard to decorate. I walked in there a few months ago and plane without any decorations the room is very blah - assuming I am thinking of the right place.

I know that in the Living seas there is a special room near coral reef that has a clear piano and a whole wall is the fish tank. I have heard really great things about that place. You can also hire mickey to scubadive by the window.

There is also a room at the top of journey into imagination - I know someone had a figment reception there I don't know much else about it. It sounded cool though.

If you go to the disney meetings website they list all of the places that are used for corporate events throughout the parks. I can't get this map to work but I think it may be my computer http://adisneymeetings.disney.go.com/media/dwm/en_US/media/tools/ipm/IPM.html

If you can't get it to work try googling disney meetings for the home page.

I know you said you don't want anything outside but my vote goes for the Italy Isola for an Illuminations cocktail hour. I bet it would be the most amazing cocktail hour anyone has ever been to.

We are having 200 people so I don't think we can all fit into the Living which stinks because I would have loved it! Journey into Imagination looks fun.. maybe I'll look into that.

Also, the map works, this looks like it could be a big help! Thanks!

The only other problem with that is how late the dinner is. We have a lot of kids coming. The Italy Isola would be amazing and it would probably be cooled off by then, I'm just afraid everyone will be starving

That's true, what time is your ceremony and where are you having your ceremony. We were originally at the AAR and I know there is a certain time frame you have to wait to get into it... I recall 9pm but I could be wrong. My timeline was as follows before we changed venues: 7:00p.m. Ceremony at Wedding Pavilion 8:30p.m. - 9:30p.m. Illuminations cocktail hour 9:30p.m. - 1:30a.m. Reception. It is late but with an AAR reception it is going to run late no matter what.

I can't think of anywhere in Epcot that can hold 200 people. I would ask your planner about LSS...I'm not sure if that many people can fit in there but for a cocktail hour it might be different. It couldn't hurt to ask or even ask her for suggestions.

We are having a WP ceremony, and Italy Isola cocktail hour and an AAR reception. I'm assuming (probably incorrectly) that my guests will have enough forethought to have a snack before the wedding. We're having the antipasto display and Mickey-roni and cheese and I think that will be more than enough to tide everyone over until dinner.

I think that you can't get better than an Isola cocktail hour. It's a beautiful location. Also, with this location (assuming you have the same timeline as me) you will have to pay the $13/pp Illuminations fee, so that is something to think about.

Our rain location for Italy is upstairs in AAR, which might be an idea for you.... the only downside to that is that everyone can see the room below. I personally wouldn't care about that, but I can see how other people might.

No matter what you choose to do... it's Disney. It's going to be great no matter what.

We are having a church ceremony and it has to be at 2pm. Our reception is scheduled for 7pm (thats the earliest you can get into the AAR) We have the CH right now at 5:30pm. I'm afraid to push it back too much because its already going to be such a looonng day. That's what I get for marrying a Catholic!!! :goodvibes
