Cocina Cucamonga menu change

Just saw that the Cocina Cucamonga menu changed and they removed the tamales which are my family's one must have CS meal at DL. Every single person in my family orders them. In fact, last summer we cancelled a TS meal because everyone said they would prefer to go have the tamales one more time on the trip instead because they liked them so much. Is there anywhere else at DLR (CS or TS) that has anything like them?

Wow, hadn't noticed that either. The tamales are also off the Rancho menu. Have you tried Tortilla Jo's?

Thanks! I looked at Tortilla Jo's menu and they don't have any on the Taqueria menu, but looks like they have on the regular menu. Guess we would take the monorail over there and do a TS. We have actually never been there- maybe we will try it. Not sure if their tamales would taste close-- I think it is Disney's verde sauce that wins everyone over. I'm the only one that orders tamales at home!

Not sure what we will do for CS now because that is usually our go to- and looking at the new menu I don't think it will work. Only one person in our family will eat black beans and I'm the only one who liked the Citrus half chicken that is still on the menu (that was the source of ******* one trip when a certain kid ordered it and then begged to throw it away and get the tamales ) I was hoping maybe there was something similar hiding at another DLR restaurant somewhere- but I guess we are out of luck.

On the flip side, I really like the new the kids menu options.
