Hi,As a second time UK cruiser we will be wanting somewhere to stay for 2 nigths prior to our 7 night Eatern Carribean cruise.I have looked at The Resort On The Beach...Any thoughts or ideas please.

Keith, back in '02 we stayed at the Doubletree Hotel in Cocoa Beach via a priceline reservation. It worked out well and I was happy with the hotel. Hopefully someone else will chime in that has stayed recently, because I'm sure after last years hurricanes that some of the hotels received a lot of damage. You might try looking at www.biddingfortravel.com and see what others have gotten recently in that area. Sorry I can't help with your specific hotel.

We will be taking our first cruise in a few weeks
We have booked into the Ron Jons resort, we have a studio unit for 2 nights and got it for $90 a night we are a party of 4 childrens ages are 8 & 9 so they aren't tiny.
This is an AA rate, all I had to do was say I was an aa member and they reduced the rate from If I recall $120
They have been very good regarding sending us confirmation etc so We are hoping our stay will be just as good, The first night we will probably just crash, but we thought the location was very central and we could chill around the pool for a while and then just nip to the supermarkets to get our bits that we need

I went to www.dcltribute.com to check out the hotels in cocoa beach. We decided to use our Marriott points and stay at the Marriott Courtyard.

Hi..

We have stayed at Best Western, and Comfort Inn & SUites..THey suited our needs for a couple of nights perfectly! We payed something llike 75$ a night, and it is beachblock, and across the street from a couple of restaurants, and a mini-mall..

I too have been wondering about this property and hope someone will comment that has stayed there recently. By the same builders as Ron Jons I understand and looks very nice. Much cheaper than Ron Jons and Radisson at the port too - we have a 2 bedroom suite (will sleep 6+) booked for only $130 in September.
