anyone know of any coat deals out there? Husband and I signed up for our county's 'adopt a family' program and the children of my adopted family asked for coats. :sad2:

it breaks my heart but i would like to get them something warm but there are 5 children. Any ideas?

I see that old nacy has their fleece lines coats for $25 anyone know if that is in store too? that's what i tend to buy for DD but i figure any deal is a good deal.

thanks
Lara

We've bought the winter 3 in 1 jackets from target and I have nothing but great things to say about them. They are around $25 and are very warm. It gets my kids through 3 seasons. AND, they wear them for 2 years in a row. I would definitely recommend them. We live in Maine so if its warm enough for us, it should be warm enough for almost any other area.

Try the overstocks at Landsend.com. I got a couple of great deals on kids parkas for 19.99

Do you need them right away? Last year Walmart had jackets for 8.00 on the day after thanksgiving. Idk where you guys are but they were plenty warm for here in NC

Try burlington coat factory maybe...Other places like Sears and JcPenny put coats on sale and with coupons you can get a even better deal. If they are little you try Childrens place.. their 3-1 coats are warm and they have sales tooo...

Right now, Penneys. They have their coats 50% off, and you can also use a coupon for them. I just bought a system jacket for my toddler for $20 with a coupon, the regular price was $50. It also came with matching hat, scarf and mittens.

The ones for older kids seem to be running about $35-50 on sale, before the coupon. Also, remember that at Penneys they will almost always allow you to split your purchase to use more than one coupon for the minimum amount that each is good on.

Thanks everyone. I am going to look to see if i have any penny's coupons lying around the house.

I appreciate it!

Lara

For the last several years Gymboree has had their warm coats on sale as part of Black Friday. I think their Black Friday sales start the Wednesday night before Thanksgiving, but I am not totally sure.
