so my question is this. for those that ride the wildest coasters (Hulk, Velisocoaster, RRR) have you ever had your eyeglasses fall off or do you not wear them on the ride? thank you

My husband and son wear glasses and have never taken them off for any coaster.

However, after having been on the Velocicoaster, my husband takes his glasses off for that one....he did think he was going to lose them first time.

Poeple wear a thing called croakies that help keep glasses on, never seen them, but many swear by them.

I leave mine on. I want to be able to see on the ride. I did have a scare on Gringott's. When the ride vehicle made one of those fast whipping motions, I was so sure my glasses had flown off and I was scrambling to find them on the floor or wherever they had gone. Turns out it was just the 3D glasses over my regular glasses. LOL. Still scary though.

I take mine off I just don't don't want to take the chance. I can see fine without them. I just can't read really well without them. You can purchase straps if you are concerned about them. I also make sure that I take a spare pair and leave it in the hotel with my suitcase. Just in case my glasses break or I lose them. So I have a back up

Rip ride rocket was the only one to ever make my glasses fall, I was still able to grab them before they went flying.

If the glasses fit well and aren't loose on your face I wouldn't worry at all, if they are like mine that are loose because of my kid constantly hitting them ..then be cautious (I actually wear my sunglasses on coasters now..they fit better anyway)

I brought my backpack to the park with my glasses case in it for the big coasters. I didn't want to take any chances. I put them in the locker. I actually almost lost them on the lazy river at VB. I was trying to reposition myself on the tube so my toes would stop scraping the bottom and I flipped. Thankfully, someone found them.

I'm blind without my glasses, so after asking everyone I could what to do, I bought Croakies. They really did help. Especially, my anxiety of losing something very expensive that I can't be without and can't replace right away. I did bring my second back up pair, but they are wire frame and don't fit as well. Only problem with Croakies I found is remembering to untighten the strap after the ride before the pain in your nose starts up. lol. But I will be using them from now on, every time I'm there. Have so much fun and enjoy!!!!

My daughter wore her glasses on Velocicoaster and Hagrids with no problems.

Nothing will ruin a day , and a vacation more than lost glasses.
I take them off and put them in a soft side case in my cargo shorts….
