We do love the Deluxe Plan! It is sooooo much food though and we almost always "waste" a lot of our snack credits. I dream of a day when they offer a plan that has 2 TS credits per day along with the 2 Snack Credits.

Welcome! We paid out of pocket for our meal at Earl of Sandwich and also a later meal at Fairfax Fare in Hollywood Studios.

Its day two already, and we were headed off to the Magic Kingdom. Despite it being 88 degrees the day prior, Mother Nature had a few tricks up her sleeve, and the forecasted high for the day was 65, which we had already hit...at about 6 AM that morning. Of course this would be the case since we had plans to do the Keys to the Kingdom Tour that day. So, please forgive our warm weather gear in the following review.

If you followed my last review then you will know that I was very self conscious about taking pictures at a buffet. I don't know why. In retrospect it is actually probably less odd to be doing so when there are characters milling about then when there are not. Anyways, I am glad to report that I got over myself on this trip.

Breakfast at Crystal Palace on our first full day has now become our tradition for us. So far, they haven't disappointed!

There is a really great selection at this buffet. Yogurt, cheese, a variety of fresh fruit, whipped cream, cold cereal, hot cereal, egg fritata, breakfast potatoes, Pooh's puffed french toast, breakfast pizzza, pastrami lox, chocolate Mickey waffles (they do have plain Mickey waffles for the purists in the audience,) potato hash assorted pastries, and omelettes made to order.

Our reservation was at 8:10, but we were seated promptly at 2 after 8. Score!

Here is my first plate. Starting at 11 o'clock and progressing clockwise we have cubed cheese (swiss and cheddar), pastrami cured lox, breakfast potatoes, and a yummy concoction they were calling breakfast casserole. It is a french toast casserole, or something that closely resembles bread pudding in flavor and texture. It is topped with a vanilla custard, sliced strawberry and banana, and then they brulee'd the custard a bit, but not to the extrent of a traditional creme brulee. There was also a layer of raspberries on the bottom. I scooped above the raspberries as I do not care for their seeds. Sorry, mine is flipped upside down in the picture. It came off the spoon that way and there was no saving it. It was excellent, although I have never met a raisin-less bread pudding that I didn't love.

Sorry its really blurry. Adam wasn't used to my new camera. Starting at 11 again, is vegetable frittata, strawberries and cream, sliced tomato, breakfast potatoes and corned beef hash, and bacon.

So...the bacon. I don't eat bacon, but I had read lots of reports that Disney's bacon is...bizarre. This was like tissue paper!! It was actually see through! True story, we played with our food at the table. I am sorry if, by default, your child learned inappropriate table etiquette from me, but I couldn't get over this bacon. It shattered when you grabbed it with the tongs. No, not crumbled like bacon you would use for a salad, but actually shattered, like it was a sheet of very thin glass. So, another vote in the Disney has weird bacon column.

After this we did order omelettes (which I forgot to take a picture of!) I had a ham, mushroom, and swiss. I don't remember what Adam had, but he was upset they didn't have sour cream on the buffet for omelettes, just salsa. I think that most people don't enjoy sour cream with their omelette. Am I right? The guy that made our omelettes was not very friendly at all. Not rude either. Just the type that really seemed to hate the fact he was making omelettes for people. But I did see him making eggs over easy for a guy. I wouldn't have thought to ask for eggs to order as well.

We had another fantastic meal here this year. I hope that we get to go back in the not so distant future!

Definitely give it a try! Both times we have gone it was excellent and we had plenty of time after breakfast was done to go and get our picture taken on a nearly empty Main Street.

We decided on this trip that we were going to do the Keys To The Kingdom Tour. As part of the tour, lunch is included at Columbia Harbor House. Adam and I both had the Anchors Aweigh Sandwich. And I am guilty, because I did not take any pictures of our meal.

The tuna sandwich was very good. I didn't care for the bread as I don't care for any whole grain bread that has sunflower seeds in it. But other than it was excellent. Definitely lighter than most tuna sandwiches I have had. Lunch came with a side of potato chips, very standard and a beverage.

I was intrigued by CHH, and would not hesitate to try them given the chance again in the future.

At long last...the time had come. We were about to embark on our very first trip to the infamous Ohana. I went there with an open, yet cautious mind. I didn't have much intention of trying to get an ADR here, but my dear fiance asks me for nothing really when it comes to our Disney trips, so when he asked that we try "that meat place" I had to indulge him.

We had a 6:35 PM reservation. I anticipated a lobby crowded with hundreds of people and screaming children. We walked into a (dare I say?) blissfull setting. We were handed a pager (we were about 15 minutes early) and headed for the gift shop as Adam continued his quest for pressed pennies.

No sooner had we added to the pressed coin collection (we could only find a pressed quarter machine) then our buzzer went off.

We were seated at a table at the far corner of the restaurant. We were off to a great start.

We started off with the welcome bread. Very delicious. I only had one chunk though, as I knew that our culinary adventure had only just begun.

The dressing really is as good as everyone claims it to be. I polished off almost this entire bowl!

Pot stickers and wings. The wings are AMAZING!! The potstickers were pretty dry and unappetizing though.

You can also see the brocolli and noodles in the background...They are ok. I don't think its really needed with all the other food that you get.

And so then...I got distracted by the endless parade of food...and forgot to photograph the meats.

We had asked if we could have our steak medium rare. Our server told me that he wasn't sure, but he would do his best.

The chicken was up first. It had a wonderful smoke flavor to it, but was still moist. It earned a

Then came pork. I usually don't like pork, because I always think it tastes dry, despite how other people rave about how moist it is. I have the same issue with turkey. This pork was fantastic! It had a hard crunchy glaze and was was moist on the inside. I actually had 2 helpings!

Then came the steak, which was done a beautiful medium rare. I know why they do it medium to medium well. It was pretty tough, and not all that exciting, but the marinade was good.

Then a server came around and asked if we wanted more shrimp. Well sure, since we never got any in the first place, more is always great!

I usually love shrimp! And these are very tasty, but I only had a few because I hated getting all messy.

And up next...

Was heaven. I mean, I actually picture heaven to be a place where there are unlimited helpings of Ohana bread pudding.

So so so so so so so so good! Too bad I was so full, otherwise I would have definitely had the whole bowl.

In the background you will see a magical star cocktail. I am a Wisconsin girl (technically North Carolina girl but my prime drinking years were spent in Wisconsin.) This was just too strong for my taste, and not all that smooth. Adam ending up downing most of it, because we don't allow waste of alcohol!

All in all, we would definitely go back to Ohana!

Yay! 'Ohana can be hit or miss - we've had some of our greatest dinners there, and also some experiences we'd rather forget. But the great meals are completely fun and delicious!

I had to scan through your Ohana review rather quickly...only because I just had to take it off our list for our Oct trip and I didn't want to tempt myself with it.

We're doing the DxDP, the week of Halloween. We have 5 2TS Dinners planned, plus Cape May Cafe, and we were going to do Ohana too. But then we did some research and realized that we probably shouldn't try for a dinner ADR on the night we are doing MNSHHP so we changed it to lunch. That meant either Cape May or Ohana would be cut as neither of them do lunch. So we cut Ohana and added a Kona lunch instead.

Sad, but it had to be done. And we'll just put Ohana on the DEFINITE list for the next trip.

We had originally planned to have our breakfast at The Wave on day 3, but we ended up being at extra magic hours much later than I thought the night before, so we moved it to later in the week.

We headed to Epcot in the morning, so we decided Sunshine Seasons would be a good place to spend some snack credits.

I thought for sure that I would go with the Key Lime Pie, because I love Key Lime Pie. But once we got there something else caught my eye.

I had the banana cake with the cream cheese icing and Adam had the cheesecake with berry topping.

I wish I would have gotten the key lime pie. The banana cake itself was tasty, but the cream cheese icing had a grainy texture that was very unappetizing.

Adam's cheesecake was creamy and thick and the berry topping was yummy too.

I wish now that I would have gotten the berry croissant bread pudding, but it was not a snack credit. Oh well, next time!

It was a HOT day in Florida, so I figured there was no better way to spend the mid-day then to work our way around the world showcase snacking and sipping.

Our first stop? Mexico! I am not a fan of blended margarita's, and I had my precious stomach space set aside for something else. So this was all for Adam, less the 2 sips I got to try.

It was 9.50 and a pretty good deal!

Next up was the Karamel Kuche! This place did not exist on our last trip, so I was incredibly eager to get there. It was a very difficult decision, but I finally decided on this little beauty...

The chewy caramel bar. This is a buttery shortbread crust, with creamy caramel, topped off with buttery shortbread crumbles. It is heavenly.

We then headed off to Le Cellier to check in for lunch. We were about 30 minutes early, and the lady told us that we would probably end up waiting the full 30, so we should come back later.

This paved they way for us to head back to France for some more treats!

I got the Grand Marnier Slush...

It is 9.95 with tax, and is just as good as I had imagined. It tastes like an Orange Fred Flinstone Push Pop!

And Adam went with this...

A Kronenburg Beer. A good bargain at $7 with tax.

We headed back to Le Cellier, it was only about 15 minutes before our ADR time, and were told that they were running about 35 minutes past ADR times. Seriously? So if we had checked in when we wanted to, we would be eating when we were supposed to. And for the record, Le Cellier was the only place we waited more than 5 minutes from the time we checked in to the time we were seated.
