Coach Outlet Is This Real???

If you go to a Coach Outlet Store, the line to get in is out the door. They only allow so many in the store at a time. You really get caught up in the frenzy. But you can find a $400 purse for under $100. And like someone said, you will find off season purses.

I live 5 minutes away from a Coach Outlet and the only time I've ever seen the line out the door is on Black Friday. Yes, you can get some good prices, but they aren't exactly giving away handbags.

I did two separate "whois" searches.

coachfactoryoutlet.com is a web site registered in Australia. This is not a good sign as Coach Leather has been based in New York for may years.

And what you gave, of coachfactoryoutletcom.com is registered in China.

Now if the coupon is actually valiud in a Coach Factory Outlet Store, that is a different matter. And Coach's actual web site is www.coach.com

I live near the Coach Outlet near the WI/IL boarder.
It is a nitemare on Saturday/Sunday's.
Everytime I have gone shopping,
there is alwalys a line. When we drive by you can see the line.
I know they are not giving away handbags,
that is why I said, it is so easy to get caught up in the buying frenzie.
I think Coach handbags are a status symbol. I could never pay over $100 for a handbag.

We go to the outlet in Orlando and have never seen a line going out the door. However, we live about 1//2 hour from Wrentham Village here in Mass. While we have never gone, I have heard horror stories about the lines going out the door there!!!:confused3

OMG the website that the OP found is terrible, Coach would never put their name on that. And some of the styles and patterns that they show are not real Coach designs. In fact, I'm not sure how they haven't been shut down yet.

The Coach outlet in CT is usually very crowded. Whenever there is 30% coupon available, there is usually a line outside the door. I read somewhere that some of the outlet store designs are created just for the outlet and not something you would see in their boutique stores, which may be true since some of the outlet bags don't seem to have the same amount of detail.

The one in Pleasant Prairie? I have been there dozens and dozens of times and have never seen a line.

I'm not much of a purse person but somehow yesterday I ended up purchasing 3 at our Coach outlet for less than $200.

Because of this crazy post, and on the Budget Board nonetheless, I HAD to go to the Coach Outlet store while I was in my hometown today.

Walked out spending $53 on 2 cute wristlets - one for me, one for my mother (early Mother's Day gift).

I got F44283 and love it! It will be perfect for my trip to Vegas. And DH didn't say a word about it, LOL.

OP...this is definately a bogus site. I know bc I ordered from them over Xmas. My dd wanted a coach bag for Xmas and I just couldn't justify spending that kind of $$ on a bag. In all the bags I've owned I don't think they total that kind of $$! I thought I would order a wallet from them, and see the quality before ordering a bag. So I placed my order and waited. I waited weeks. About a week before Xmas I figured I was out my $$ and we drove to the actual outlet store. We were handed a 30% off coupon and I purchased a bag that was already 50% off and I sprung for a wallet too. The very next day the online order came. I needed to sign for it, and the shipping slips were all in Chinese. The quality is definately second rate, and I'm sure she would have known the difference. She was thrilled with the purchases I made, and I am now carrying a knock off coach wallet. (which doesn't bother me in the least)

Yes, the original listed is bogus. The one listed later that only has a semi-annual sale you can only shop at if you receive the e-mail. However, I know some people on here were able to get in with 'common' last names (you had to enter your last name when you clicked the link) & complete the purchase. So if you have a name like Smith, Hansen, or a million others you are fine. If your last name is Schweitzer, odds are you won't get to order through the tru online outlet unless you received the e-mail yourself.

I also like to look at the purses. I am very fussy in how they feel & carry & what zips, pockets, etc., they have. The true online outlet doesn't show the interiors, etc. (at least didn't in the last sale).

We only go when they have 20% or 30% off. The odd thing is, that normally the best deals are on the special promo items inside the door. When they move them to the 50% off area in back, it is then 50% off the tag price. Example: Tag price $289. Special inside the door price (usually when it first comes out) - $119. So when it's one of a few left & hits the 50% off in the back it is actually $145 as it's half off the tag price, vs. the lowest price it has been offered at. However, sometimes there are subsequent markdowns in the bag. Got the beautiful big purple plaid type one that just came out last fall right after Xmas for about $80 net with coupon.

Great return policy too.

Actually they have different designs for coach factory vs. regular coach. Sometimes they have some things from regular but over 1 years after it came out on regular stores.
It's true that quite a bit of the Coach outlet merchandise is manufactured specifically to be sold in the outlets, but there is a good amount of marked down merchandise from the full-priced stores there, as well. And the turnaround time for an item to go from the 'regular' Coach store to the outlet is much shorter now. I purchased a few items from a Coach store at Christmastime...many of the same items were at the Coach outlet - at a significant markdown - when I went on January 16th.

Has anyone ever had luck selling their Coach bags on Craigslist? I have posted 3 times on there and my account always gets hacked into. Not sure why. I was thinking of doing the ebay thing, but not sure if it's worth it with all the bags they have for sale.
Once we got the Michael Kors outlet here I stopped buying Coach.
Even with the glut of Coach merchandise on eBay, I've found that it still sells like crazy. Just about every Coach item I've listed has sold within 2 weeks.

Thanks!! I think maybe I will try ebay. I have 4 or 5 bags to get rid of.
