I love them, too, but truthfully, I don't buy them often. I still have a classic bag that is 10 years old! I just recently stopped using it when I bought a Beijo bag. Now I'm thinking of getting a new Coach. Here's a question: I love the #2 bag in your pic, but what is up with the strap? Why not a classy leather strap??

BTW, I logged on to Coach last night to check it out and drooled, too! It must have been the expensive handbag thread that got me going!

Here's another question: How many handbags do you buy a year? I don't, so I don't count. I bought 2 new ones this year and that is a record! I kinda realized after getting new that perhaps I should pay more attention and buy more often. Do you normally get one each year? One each season???

I know I wouldn't want to spend that kind of money 4 times a year, but maybe once or *gasp* twice!!!??? (I'm talking $100 -$200 for a bag...not $600! )

I bought a my first coach bag this year (i'm 28 - figured it was about time!) for $238 and a wristlet for $98. That was all i'm allowing myself to buy this year.

but I can drool over them - right? and hint like mad at my family! heheheh

I need to hit the coach outlet here in CT...haven't been yet. It's right by the beach that my girlfriends and I hit...hmmmmm. hit the outlet early then hit the beach...now THERE'S a plan!

My sister has been a big fan of Coach since she worked as a clerk at B.Altmans's in NY over 30 years ago. Two years ago she was burglarized and 3 of her 20 plus bags were stolen...

She replaced them all PLUS on eBay for a fraction of the cost! I own two now, one from eBay and one from a thrift shop that I got for a STEAL at $10! Even my obnoxious sister and my obnoxious BF were STUNNED at the deal I got there. The great thing about even used Coach bags is that they look good no matter what age they are!

I got that same email today. I really want the new scarf print in the pink/brown. The sqare tote is the one I want. Its $238 I think.
the only thing is...its a fall bag...and I am in the middle of 115 degree summer and not ready for fall.
