Co-owners not showing up

We purchased a small resale DVC contract last fall, first time owners. I handled everything but my husband and adult son are both also listed on the deed as owners. The membership was set up and points loaded, etc. Took our first trip last week. Noticed while we were on the trip that while I can pull up my profile and see the DVC designation (along with my Disney Visa), it is not showing on either of theirs (nor does the Disney Visa show on my husbands and he is on that as well). I assume this is not really a big deal since as resale buyers we don't qualify for discounts or anything. But it bothers me that it doesn't show for them. And I'm not sure if there's something besides discounts that might need them to show their ownership. We are planning to add on directly next time there's a good deal (possibly when Poly2) opens as I do want unrestricted points down the road. Then of course, it would be a big deal for them not to be able to show their affiliation for discounts, etc.
Any ideas on how we can fix this? Is there something I can do on the dvc site or do I have to call and jump through a bunch of hoops?

Thanks!

He has to create his own account with Disney and DVC. if he has done so and it's in the same name as how he took title (not Billy for William), then call Disney IT to have it linked.

As said above, every owner and associate member has to create their own DVC account, that will be linked to the membership. Memberships are initially set up with just the name and email address used to perform the purchase.

Okay thanks everyone. They both already have their own Disney accounts. So they just create new DVC accounts and then we can link it to them?

They need to get activation codes from MS, just as if they were brand new owners, in order to set up their login access to the DVC Member website. Once they have their own logins to the member website, they can link their ownership to their MDE profiles.

BTW, once they do all that, when they enter a park they should get the pink/purple ring and Mickey saying "Welcome Home!"

Thanks so much! I'll reach out to Member Services.

And now that you mention that, I had forgotten that I was supposed to get a new color and a welcome home. It did not do that any day last week for me. Now I'm sad!

Actually, we didn’t get as usual when we were there in January. Hopefully just temporary!

Just at MK and EPCOT. The turnstile lighted up pink both times, but no welcome home. I only have it set up for me. My husband could not care less about the pink light.

I do know a couple times when we entered, we didn't even get a green light. The CM said they had been having glitches and as long as it didn't go red, it was actually showing fine on their end. So maybe some kind of temporary issues.
Edited to add: This was the first week of February.
