Hi all, I know long time no post. I have been trying to graduate college for a second time. Graduation - May 10th!:cool1:

Anyway, I thought that you all might be interested in this news segment from CNN. They interviewed me and my son Justin on autism - getting a diagnosis. It air yesterday and will air again on Saturday and Sunday on House Call on the CNN network. I am attaching the link from the website if you want to see it there.

And here is the actual video footage shot.

I hope all is well. I will be back after May to post again.

Sadly your story and mine are almost mirror images. Although when the thought that my DD might be autistic hit me I thought that the Dr's weren't seeing it because she was a girl. So it took 4 year to get a diagnosis. But now things are going great!

Shannon, I just read the article. Your son Justin is so cute! :goodvibes Good for you for staying on top of his condition and fighting for a correct diagnosis. I have an older dd, and still didn't see my (at the time) 18 mth old as being all that "off". I just figured all kids are different, and she'd do things in her own time. Thank goodness her pediatrician did see it, and referred us to a developmental ped.

I also think it's very cool of you to put your story out there. You're helping other parents in ways you'll probably never know. :grouphug:
