Cndn military free at Seaworld

Hi, just catching up after our trip (see ticker!). Wanted to let you know that our friends were admitted to Seaworld absolutely free, for the whole family, on showing their Canadian military ID. The ticket window guy said, "Thanks for your support" and waved them in.

This was a nice bonus for them because we had had a lot of trouble getting solid information about whether they'd get the Hero Salute free admission without being stationed at a US base.

Yay Seaworld!

i just got an email from seaworld reguarding this.

"thank you for contacting Sea world Orlando. Anheuser-Busch has extended their military promotion called "Here's to the Heroes" for the active duty military through December 31, 2008. it allows you one visit per year to one park only. This does include our active-duty Friends in the Canadian military as well

The promotion is for active duty military and up to three direct dependents (spouse and children). All eligible dependents, ages 10 & over, need to bring their active military ID's with them.
