in regards to the new "Year of a Million Dreams" campaign.
For all the guests you have to deal with who are borderline irate when they don't get a towel animal or a comped dessert, now there will be legions. I fear that people are going to see the promo and be upset if they don't get to spend the night in the castle. CMs always do an oustanding job with guest relations, but I am sure this will make the job that much more trying.
As for me, I will happily vacation in WDW, and politely cheer when those around me get the extra magic.

I just don't get it: the new ad campaign is something that is only for a few people (relatively speaking), yet it is put out there as an enticement to draw masses to the parks. Call me a crusty old cynic, but I don't like it
Why can't Disney just keep on dishing out the magic like it does currently? I think the CMs do a phenomenonal job with that.
. I probably don't like this idea for the same reason I don't like the lottery -it is a PT Barnum sucker act.
We will also be cheering on the winners, hoping for some pixie dust, but never expecting it. The surprise is ALWAYS the best part!
