I just got our ADR's from my travel agent and the only time we could get for CM's was 9 p.m. Is it worth eating this late to do CM's or should we just go somewhere else?
For me and my family 9:00 is too late for dinner. My kids could not last until such a late hour for their meal. We can manage late breakfast and a late lunch but not a late dinner.
I think it is totally worth it, Chef Mickey's is an incredible experience. However, it depends on your children and whether or not they'll adapt to eating so late and so on. Chef Mickey's is so much fun though and personally I prefer the breakfast so maybe you'll think about doing that? Hope this helps!
Are you from the West Coast by any chance? I can tell you with the 3 hour time change, 9pm dinners with kids can be pretty easy in the first couple of days of a trip. Its the getting up and getting going in the morning that can be harder!
We did a late dinner ay Chef Mickeys and my DS did great. But he is a commando traveller when it comes to disney. All that hockey he plays gives him endurance for the parks! Only you know your children best and what they can handle. But Chef mIckeys is an aweosme fun time...we love the experience...enjoy!

That was us on travel day on our November trip. IMHO NO it was not worth waiting that long. That late at night the kids didn't much care that they were eating with Mickey. Really, it's just a buffet that happens to have Mickey & friends stop by. I did like the Disco Mickey Mouse soundtrack though.
If your CM dinner is the same day they have wishes you can watch it from the contemporary We had a late ressie the last time we went and we did fine. Just keep them busy till its time to eat!
I'd skip it for that time and try to get a different time for CM. I know for us, 9pm would be ridiculous to try and get my girls to eat. How old are your kiddos? If they're older perhaps it wouldn't matter then. Mine are small still and fade very quickly, especially after a full day at the parks!
