CM's Who Don't Know the 90 Day Mark!

::MickeyMo So, I went to make my ADR for CRT for Jan. 14th. I know it is exactly 90 days from today. She told me I was a day early! In fact, she insisted on it! Why don't CM's know the 90 day mark when it's so crucial early in the morning in order to get CRT for breakfast? I had to call back to talk to another CM. Luckily, I still got it, but still! She almost cost me my breakfast! ::MinnieMo
 
That happened to us just recently when we were trying to book the Chef's Table at V&A. FH called exactly 180 days out, I had the date exactly, and the CM insisted that we were wrong. He tried calling back but it was booked two minutes later.

::MickeyMo Isn't that ridiculous? That should not happen. They should have a big sign or something that says "90 days from today is _____." They're costing people ADR's when mistakes like that happen. I'm sorry for the loss of the Chef's Table. That's so hard to get and if you hadn't gotten that CM, all would be fine. It's so aggravating. ::MinnieMo
 
We didn't have that problem when we called this morning, but we had another one! We called the 407-WDW-DINE number (of course!), and when my husband said he wanted to make some advance reservations, the CM started asking him questions as if he was wanting to make resort reservations!! He finally clued in after she asked him how many nights we wanted to stay and said, "No, I want DINING reservations!". Fortunately, we were not wanting CRT this time, and we got everything we wanted, but I would have been mad if that confusion had cost us an ADR!

We don't run into it often, since we almost never make those 90 day PSs, but yes, it was very aggravating!

But no worries, we got the table the next day :teeth: Even better because it's for Feb 14
 
I just called...got through and had no problem making mine. Of course I wasn't looking for the "big ticket" of CRT, so I wasn't too concerned with making sure I got in at 7am.

But...I was also logging into my vacation planner on the Disney website and in my messages, it states "time to make your dining reservations". So I would think that if you call and someone gives you a hard time, you could tell them that your vacation planner through the Disney website indicates that this is the day to call.

::MickeyMo It was so more aggravating because it was my last chance. I booked it for our last day, the day we'll be leaving. I was like...nooooo! I wanted it to be one of the last things we remember. Good thing I didn't have too much of a problem getting back through. ::MinnieMo

::MickeyMo I don't usually go into there that often. Sometimes it takes a bit to load, and we have cable, so sometimes I don't even bother. I did use the PS calculator and it has never been wrong before.

Also, they wouldn't let me make Fulton 90+10 so she told me when to call back. That was fine, so I just counted days from there. I knew that CM wasn't wrong.

Plus, what also bothered me is I could tell she didn't even check if she could. As soon as I said the date she was like, "no, you're 1 day early." Geez. ::MinnieMo
