CMC help please

I'm also a CMC, I want to do a workshop for a local church youth group going to help people by painting and repairing homes I thought it would be nice to have them make albums of all their hard work doing for others, and it would preserve their memories in a nice way. So here is my question the church can't promote my business for me so how do I get out there to all those good kids. A friends daughter is going and she is the one trying to help me. Any ideas would help, thanks, Nancy

Sorry I'm not much help, but could your friend or her daughter be a "host" for you? My church doesn't allow any type of business promotion either. I can't use the directory for contacts, etc. which is all fine (I don't really want the insurance guy calling me either), but does make it more challenging to get the word out.

Another option: Could the youth group do it as an activity? The youth probably do "fun" things too, like bowling, etc. Maybe one month you could offer the "faithbooking" event (at cost? so you aren't actually making $ off your church friends) and see where it goes from there? Or go ahead and have the friend's daughter make an album and let HER show it off? I haven't done any faithbooking projects, but for youth it seems like a good fit for their growth in their faith.
