Cm remark about new Mexican restaurant

I was calling to set up Hoop dee doo (couldn't get it to take online) and decided to ask when they would start taking ressies for the new Mexican restaurant. She didn't even hesitate and said they hadn't made a final decision yet if it will have a table service or not. Anyone else heard this or anything else?

Called Disney Dining today, the CM stated the new restaurant in Mexico was to have a 'soft' opening on September 16. Reservations will begin 2 weeks after that.

DARN! I so wanted to go here but we leave Sept 18th and I have some of my faves booked for 16th and 17th..Ohana and LeCellier and Im not giving those up!

I would even be happy with the CS at this point.. I love getting Mexican while in Epcot and I didnt want to get it out of the little temporary stand..
