Ok, what are these things, what are they called, what do they look like, where do you get them, and how much do they cost?

I got mine at the 12 Days of Christmas store in DTD. There were several designs; mine is oval with a picture of tinkerbell and castle. It only took them 5 minutes to put name on it. I think the badge was around $10.00. HTH.

They're Guest of Honor badges, and I got mine at the Five and Dime (I think that's what it's called) at MGM. It's a red oval one with Mickey on it and has my name engraved. They generally have common names ready to go, but it only takes a few minutes for them to engrave a name on it. You can also get them online at some places, but I don't know the sites offhand.

Like many things at Disney, they have changed what they call these.

"Name Badges" (catchy, huh?) are what they now call the former "Guest of Honor Badges".

Here's are some links to see and/or order them (don't have direct knowledge about the sellers at the links).

Thanks so much for the links! I was looking for these badges, but the ones I found were $22.00!!! The total cost for one from the laughing place was $14 and some change. It should get to me in a week.

I know it's corny but I always wanted one to wear to the parks  .
Thanks again!

I have one of these that I wear on my pin lanyard. Beware! People will constantly ask you questions about the park that you are in...(I have heard stories of people getting mad when you don't know an answer, but this has never happened to me). It's funny...there are usually four of us that travel and wear these, but I am usually the person that people approach with questions! :teeth: Also, the SM's will sometimes call you by name when you are waering these...caught me off guard at first!

Have fun!

That is so true. It happened to me within 30 minutes the first time I wore mine at MK.

We picked them up at the Christmas Store in DTD. The were no more than $10 with the engraving. I think you need to go in the end closest to the bus stops.
