I'm a newbie to digital scrapbooking--just started using CM Storybook Creator Plus this week, and I'm loving it. So I'm now considering CM's Memory Manager Software to store and edit pics.

Anyone have any experience with it and positive/negative comments? I'm currently using Kodak Easyshare software to edit my photos even though I no longer use a Kodak camera. I know it pretty well, and just haven't had the time/energy to make a change.

I'd like to upgrade to a better photo editing software, but I don't want to buy something that I'll have to spend hours trying to figure out. Storybook Creator Plus has been easy to learn so I'm hoping the same is true with Memory Manager!

Thanks for any suggestions and all the inspiration from the amazing layouts.

Regards,

Jen

I use Memory Manager primarily for the restore feature. I have many old photos that I can touch-up extraordinarily well. For what it would cost me to have one photo re-touched, I was able to get the program to do many. That in itself made Memory Manager worth it to me. I think you will be pleased with the purchase.:)

I previously used easy share - I got the CM memory manager when it came out and love it - it is my primary one. It is so easy to use, it also has amazing features - I have actually removed people from a photo and put a tree in place of them. Can't tell in the prints.

I love this program too. It is the only editing software I own. I have been using it for about 3 years now. I just use the basic stuff with it and found out some really cool things that it can do this weekend. :thumbsup2 I need to just play more with it! I believe you will enjoy this program for editing.

What else is everyone using? I'm just starting out in digital.

I've been using Kodak EasyShare but also have a copy of Adobe Photoshop Elements. Maybe I just haven't spent enough time to learn Elements, but I don't find it very intuitive or easy to use. I know that other love it, though.

I think I'll be ordering CM Memory Manager. Thanks for the recommendations!

Jen

I use CM memory manager...to store/sort/ and upload for printing (I love my prints from Creative memories:thumbsup2 )

But I do most of my 'major' adjustments on PhotoImpact. I love the program...very much like photoshop...but lots cheaper. i purchased it online.

It was recommended by the gals on the DISign boards. I started using it for DISigning, but now i use it for most of my personal photo editing. Much more control and options compared to MM.

Don't get me wrong... i loved my MM for the past 3 years, it does a great job...I just found that I like the extra flexibility of PI
