CM Interview Tips

I just got back from my audition to be a CM! It was really cool, I was interviewed by a former CM who took on a permanent position as a recruiter for WDW. She was like 30, really friendly.

Here were some of the things they asked, in case any of you are interviewing any time soon:

--What jobs have you worked at, and how did you have to take negative situations in those jobs and turn them positive?
--What's your major, and how do you think the college program will help you with your plans?
--What's your favorite attraction/park, etc?
--Where in the park do you think you could be most successful?

It was really quick, they limit each interview to about 20 minutes, and there wasn't much pressure at all.
Make sure you dress very well! I wore a full suit and tie, suspenders, the whole deal.

They said afterward that I should receive a letter about whether or not they'll hire me in 7-10 days, so 3-5 weeks is probably an exaggeration.

Anyway, good luck to me and good luck to anyone else interviewing. Maybe I'll see you down there this spring!

I interviwed last Thur. It is actually like you said, very short and informal. I wore a suit with a tie and I was also interviewed by a formal CM. Hopefully I'll get my acceptance or denial very soon. I can't stand the wait, I hope it was worth it.
