Hi croppers....just wondering if anyone has taken the newly offered CM class about disney borders. I am holding one at my house as a favor to my Consultant. I will eventually get back to the parks so I know I will use them all then. Just wanted some input on what everyone thought.

PS if your in NE Ohio area and want to come to the class email me
Gallos5520@cs.com

thanks
cindy

I haven't done the class, but I have seen some of them. They are cute!:D I might do some for one of my trips. If I ever get there!!;)

I didn't do the class, but I would LOVE to see some of the pages. Do the have them in the "Crop Talks"?

I took it this summer. Cute ideas, really got me in the mood for my September trip. I used a lot of the ideas for my mom's album I made for her for Christams to rmemeber the trip. I have yet to start on my own album GASP!!!

A few of the girls at class were talking about this the other night.

While they enjoyed it, they felt it was nothing new. There seasoned scrappers, me I'm a novice and need all the help I can get.

I love the CM way of scrapping but find myself doing my own style lately. Probably why my page times have doubled and tripled.

I find any class is helpful, especially when your learning. Which is forever.

I haven't heard of this class. Definitely something I'd be interested in. Please let me know how it goes. If it was worth it etc.

Definitely something I'd like to see. I'll have to find a way to get myself invited to a CM party!.............P

I haven't been to a class (or held one) but I have seen all the borders, and in fact I have them, but they are copyrighted and I can't post them to the boards. :( They are VERY cute, esp. if you are inclined to like the CM style. Basically they use a lot of the stickers in the Snap pack and incorporate them into original borders...I would recommend it, esp if you have a lot of Disney pages to do! Plus, you can use the basic border idea, and use different paper and stickers for other layouts. :D

They are not included in a Crop Talk; some ladies I think in the Colorado area came up with them, and they have been forwarded to most CM directors, who then forward them to their downlines...

and I have heard from two of the girls on the board who want to come....how cool is that!!!!

I will let you know how it goes.

thanks

I went to CM Crop last night and asked about this class. My CMC said she only had a couple of the boarders. She hadn't taken the class and CM doesn't sell the directions and it was copyrighted so she couldn't give them to me. She only had a few Disney pages so it wasn't worth it for her to do the class/purchase the stuff. :(

Oh well, I'll just have to rely on my own creativity!

Are these the borders by Amy Snively? I have photos of a really nice set by this CM UL. I think its okay to share them as long as its not for profit....but only by private email to protect the CMC from being accused of advertising online.

The class was tonight and Cindy had a great group there, I think there were 12 of us. Her CM consultant is very low key, not at all pushy, and everybody seemed to have a wonderful time...I know I did (thanks again, Cindy)! The borders are cute and go together pretty quickly, they use the CM snap pack stickers as well as the rick racks (?). I would not call myself a CM scrapper, I don't really think I have a style other than my own, but I know I'll use these ideas in my books. You could dress them up with other embellishments if that's your thing or change the theme to something besides Disney. Very versatile!

I loved doing the Disney boarders, although I was ready to never look at anything Disney again when I was done. Seems like it took me forever to do them.

I just did the Srping boarders class yesterday and it was much easier for me. They are so pretty and will be great for upcoming pictures.

I would love to see them too! I did 16 layouts so far and have 59 to go. Anything to speed them up!

Thanks!
