I recently purchased the Power Layouts box from Creative Memories and am spending some office time this afternoon "studying", uh yea, ok reading the booklet that came with it. At one point there is a tip that says to treat digital photos as memorabilia and not mount in direct contact with other photos. Now I don't use many digitals but occasionally do and thought they were safe as long as they are printed on photo paper.

Any one have more info on this point?

Thanks,
Deb

Deb - You should hit your crack CMC up for that! I'll look thorugh my stuff tonight. If anyone knows off the top of their head, that'd be great.

I think it's basically not knowing the qulaity of ink or paper that was used in the print. If teh paper had acid or lignen or the ink had acids, that would not be something that you'd want touching your other photos. All mine are digital (or mostly) so it would not matter.

I agree, also the ink used from your printer may not be photosafe. I know when I print digital pictures, the ink scratches off if it rubs against something else and you wouldn't want that on your other pictures.

Yea Carrie I thought about emailing you directly but then thought I might as well post it for the benefit of the other non-digitals out there! :p

No problem Deb! I did not get any more beyond that last night, but I have one more route I'm going to take. I'll keep everyone posted.
