CM coming soon news - secret out

I'm glad to see everyone enjoying the news. My upline sent me the information yesterday and I knew this was the place to share. I usually just lurk around and read what everyone is doing but this was news to share.

I will definately be ordering myself a few of those albums in a week or so.

I love the book and snap pack. I cant wait to get mine. I need at least 3 maybe 5. I hope they come out with a 12X12 album. I am using my albums for autograph books for my three children. We are planning a Christmas trip this year. These books are going to be a big hit. Good luck to all who order a book. Please let us know here at the Dis if anyone wins one of the trips.

Did you use a scrapbooking pen for the authographs?

Yes, I used a black CM round-tip pen.

I'd like to see this album in all sizes 7x7, 8½x11, 12x12 and 12x15!

Cheryl...you forgot one way to do the autographs...that's taking the CM photo mounting paper cut in pieces (I think I cut it so I got 6 pieces to a sheet....) and get it comb bound. I think you can have this done at Staples or Kinkos or one of those places...my dh did it at his office. I also used some extra cardboard as covers. I loved how this worked...though we ended up not doing a lot of autographs on the trip I made them for!

Denise....call your CMC now and place your order. If she orders monthly she'll be able to order your album right away on May 1st.

Not sure if I'll be ordering one right away or not....I really could use several, I think. But I'm so behind on my albums that I no longer even know what I need. I'm wondering if since we've been going so often I could fit one of my trips in a 7x7. Or, maybe I should do a Disney ABC album for each of my kids (yikes that's 3 albums there, not counting me!)....or maybe just finally do the autograph album! I've been wanting to do a 12x12 ABC album though.

Wow...just had an awesome idea...I can take the photos we've gotten with the characters on each visit and make a list of autographs we need...then we could use multiple pictures with each character in the album. If we miss any characters I can most likely get the extra autographs by going to Guest Sevices (did you all know you can do that?...many guest services cm's are "good friends" with all the characters and can get their autographs almost instantly..if you don't need the photo)

Darn though...I'm going to a NSD workshop next Friday and there are too many new items I want! And I really wanted to save my birthday money for a new Quickutz alphabet!

Personally - it is hard to have a kid get a few that aren't upside down in the book - lol
SO that said I will probably just BUY the album and pen at DIS (love the pens) and scan them when I get home so I can turn them, resize them, or whatever Then I will also be sure they are acid frree AND the characters won't have a hard time holding that dang regular sized pen

I made autograph books for my children for Christmas last yr. I took their autograph books from our trip in 99'. I tore out the signature, because PattyT is right...they were every which way. Then I trimmed them the best I could and put them on a piece of colored paper. I placed a picture on one side and the autograph on the other, added stickers and a little note. They turned out really cute if I do say so myself. I had approx. 23 autographs, so I had to add an extra packet of pages for each book. Then I manage to split 3 of the Disney snap packs between the two books. It worked out in the end.

I can't wait to see it!! My CMC is expecting her sample today in the mail to show me!!!!! I am going to actually take 2 6x6 toploading albums that I am working on and transferring them over to these albums cuz I wasn't happy with these albums. They didn't hold enough for my pics. I'll use them for something else I'm sure.

FYI- She said to tell you all to definitely go to the CM website www.creativememories.com to request a 12x12. Go to the bottom of the first page to YOUR THOUGHTS and then click on submit idea. She said they really do listen. Hope they listen and soon!!!

Thanks for all the great ideas for the authograph book! I emailed my CMC yesterday to place my order. Can't wait to get it and start planning on how to put it to use after our August trip.

I also went to the CM website to request a 12x12 album. Our trip photos would never fit in a small album. Hopefully if they get enough requests they will lissen!

I also just looked at the CMC website. The other new products coming out in May (which I must have too) are Ocean Breeze printed papers, $6 and Summer Medley sticker pack, $3.50. For some reason the photo is not coming up on my computer, so I cannot describe them (yet). I emailed my upline with a "one of everything please" request! Well, 3 each of the albums and donewithones, but hey, a girl's gotta give some gifts!

Oh, and new ABC/123 stickers in a few new shades---Classy Indigo, and Sassy Iris and Strawberry....
