CM Attitudes

That's the final straw. Time to roll out those next gen audioanimatronic CMs. Then we won't have to deal with those pesky humans and their unpredictable human nature. Plastic smiles and pixie dust sprinkles for everyone!

:rotfl2:
Too funny...audio-ani CMs! Where every interaction is P-E-R-F-E-C-T.

So, you logically connect someone being "pixie dusted" with CMs getting spit on in a parade? That is not logic. You are trying to connect dots that aren't there.

:headache:

I think she was saying the logic is the same here:

- "I don't believe people spit on CMs BECAUSE I'VE NEVER SEEN IT"
- "I don't believe people get "pixie-dusted" on PP BECAUSE I'VE NEVER SEEN IT"

My personal, anecdotal experience determines whether something does/should happen or not. :)

Being a past cast member (twice) & college programmer twice I can tell you some days can be tough. People used to yell at me when they tried to go through exit on winnie the pooh but the line is wheelchair accessible.....

I ALWAYS tried to smile & wave at everyone getting on/off a ride. I got yelled at a handful of times by guests but I learned to brush it off. I know someone who recently interned there & she said she got screamed at everyday so I'm sure it takes a toll on them...... Not making excuses but they are people too & have feelings. I'm sure being yelled at all day cannot be fun. When I worked @ WDW I only made $5/hr & loved it! I guess it just depends on the person....

I am sorry, but I find it very hard to believe that any guests are "spitting" on CMs during the parades. I have never seen this once but as described, you would think it happens all the time.

It actually happens a LOT more than guests would think. Grown adults get rather angry when they are told that they can not stand there to watch the parade or fireworks.

You could say it's true of any job. I'm an RN so I won't even tell you about the number of things that are required of me on a day to day basis. I try 99% of the time to always be there for the patient but everyone is human.
