This may have already been discussed here but I didn't see it and it was new to me. On Tuesday while waiting for the MK bus at POFQ there was a CM with a device asking everyone where they were going and then checking the device and telling you how much longer the bus would be ( example: the Studios bus will be here in 4 minutes). A guest asked her what she was doing and she stated she was testing out technology that would be available to guests soon that would tell you how long until a specific park bus would be at your resort. She said that it's still a little off. She gave an example that it said an Epcot bus would be there in 5 min and it never came. But I thought this sounded like good news once they have it working!

Animal Kingdom Lodge has had that for a while now. It was great. They had the arrival times of the buses up on a small screen. It was pretty accurate.

That sounds great! I ate at Grand Floridian and noticed that their bus stop (covered. .. With benches!) had a small screen displaying wait times for all destinations. We were staying at Pop and assumed this was one of the finer points of deluxe resorts. Would be very nice if it trickles down.

They are also actually testing an app that will let you know via phone or tablet for bus arrival.

Many places (including NYC now with its 1000s of busses) have GPS technology on busses where you can open an app and find out exactly how far away the next bus is. Disney should definitely have it -- it's so helpful not only to avoid looking longingly at the horizon every minute, but to help make a choice when there's another way to get where you want to go or nearby.

I'm surprised this wasn't inplemented much sooner. Like the poster above me pointed out, it's pretty common technology.

Probably because they don't want it to show everyone that it's a 40-minute wait for the next bus to come at 7:45 am!;)

Riverside has this already at their main bus stop- South Depot. It was great when we were there last year. They need to add them to all of the resorts. I am at POFQ now and so far the buses have been fine, but it would be great if they added the same thing.

This is different than the screens with wait times on it that resorts have had installed already. This is testing for bus wait times as a section of the MM+ App that people use on their phones, much like how you can view attraction wait times already on the app.

Would be nice to know from your phone when your in your room still if you need to hurry because the next bus will be there in 5 minutes or if you have more time because it'll not be there for another 20 minutes.
