This is pretty long winded:
Please ignore my lack of knowledge, I am totally lost in trying to find some information about a ticket that I have from the Disney/MGM grand opening in 1989. I was in WDW in August of 1988 and and toured an exhibit about the upcoming park opening and bought a ticket, which I brought home and stuck away amongst all my other souvenirs. I didn't think about it again until last year when I was dragging my old maps out to show my kids what Disneyland used to look like, and I stumbled across the ticket. I did a little poking around at that time and ended up emailing someone I found online that was involved with a collectibles board. He told me that there wasn't nearly the interest among collectors for the MGM tickets because they are a solid gold color and not colorful and pretty like the Epcot tickets. Disappointed, I filed the ticket away again. Now that I have found this board, I am wondering if anyone knows of anywhere I could track down a value or some info on this ticket?? I have done several web searches and found nothing, which is discouraging. Any ideas anyone? I do realize that my ignorance is probably annoying, but I am thinking that if I can fetch anything for this ticket, it could go toward our next trip to Disneyland.....:thumbsup2
