There are a lot of options for transportation at The Walt Disney World. There are boats and cars and buses and taxis and burros and limos and mondorails and duorails and triorails and that wonderful gizmo that takes you from Rosen's Crown of Eptoc back to your hotel room without you remembering anything about the trip and even good old shoe leather. Maybe it hasn't been very well publicized, but I think the character piggy-back rides are the way to go! I hopped on Goofy over at the Contemptorary and, after a few befuddled moments on his part, had him moving along pretty nicely over to the Animal Kingdom. He made pretty good time. I thought that the characters weren't supposed to talk, but old Goofy was talking up a blue, and I do mean blue, streak!

I'd bet somebody here knows an 800 number you could call to get a PPB (Priority Piggie Back). If you do, please go ahead and post it here. That would be very helpful. Just everybody remember, that a PPB IS NOT a guaranteed reservation.

Give a big YEEHAW and enjoy the ride!

This is the another in a series of honest and objective looks into The Walt Disney World by your humble servant, clueless adventurer. I hope to stimulate lots of stimulating stimulation about The Walt Disney World. Thank you for your kind attention!

:rotfl:
Thank you so much for your insightful posts!!! They really make me smile!!!

I never knew of that form of transportation. Is there a weight limit? My husband is a little big.

TC, I recommend that your husband try to get Goofy or maybe even The Beast! I have a nephew who is a very big boy and he'd just squash poor Mickey! I think we should leave the little characters for the kids, don't you? :)

The great part about this is that you don't even have to ask before you jump on them. Any time you see a character, jump on his/her/its back and yell your destination. They may struggle at first, but keep a firm grip on his/her/its head/handle/tentacle/hair.

Gepetto is a good choice for a faster trip. Sure, he is a little older, but he has longer legs.

Howzabout a ride on Buzz! TO INFINITY AND BEYOND!!!

Woohoo!!!!! I just hope he doesn't zap me with his lazer! :p

If ever left behind.... SSB can swing by and pick up on rocket... :)

I hope you're real careful when you pick people up, SideshowBob. That rocket could do some damage! But I bet you can get us there in a hurry!

I got up early today and called CRO at 6:50 a.m. and there weren't any openings for Goofy.

Should I reserve Pluto or just keep calling back hoping for an opening with Goofy?

I would very much appreciate your advice, clueless adventurer. Thanks and pixiedust to you.

kild, you've got the right idea!

Gina, you could really 'Buzz' around then, couldn't you?!?!? HAHAHA!!

fantasymagic, I'd keep calling and hope that there are cancellations. ....and you're very welcome. :)
