I am not a huge villain fan, really I'm not. However, my boyfriend REALLY wanted to attend an we love food, so I agreed. Value wise? Extremely good for anyone that likes to eat/drink. I can't drink much alcohol but I definitely understand the value of the open bar.
My boyfriend is also into character hunting (for photos and autographs, if available), so for those also into that, it is quite amazing. The areas where the villains reside for photos are thrones and is completely decorated/designed just for that villain. I was a bit awkward interaction wise but I loved taking so lo shots on the thrones (at the end of the party).
The show was quite entertaining and well done.
Dance floor was pretty dead, but that's ok.
The quality of the food was impressive for a buffet, the bussers/waiters were quite attentive through the first half of the event and then slowly faded until they saw you needed assistance (since everyone was winding down at the end).
Overall, I was pleasantly surprised and if someone offered to take me, on their dime, I'd go. Otherwise, I'd like to use the money for an experience I haven't tried. This is my view, someone that loves food and shows but not hugely jazzed over villains or dancing.
My boyfriend? LOVES IT! He loved every aspect of it and you will too if you enjoy any of the above ^_^
Ultimately, I loved seeing him happy and the food was quite good
P.S. The characters are truly amazing with their roles. AMAZING. I'm still scared of Malificent.
