Club Villain

We went 10/1. Enjoyed it a lot. For us, the food was just meh, but mostly just because it really isn't our kind of food. I was with 3 VERY picky eaters, who ended up just eating dessert. I tried several things but just wasn't impressed with the food- and again, just because its not my type of food. The atmosphere was wonderful, the music and interactions great. Queen of Hearts, to repeat most people, was hilarious and so much fun! Cruella cracked me up. Maleficent and Evil Queen were also, in our opinion, meh, but its just because they were staying true to character, which still made it good. It was very fun, had a blast. I might or might not do again, depending on when and what else is going on. If we go without kids, I would for sure. Our kids enjoyed it, but I'd rather not pay that price for them again since they didn't like to food and couldn't drink lol. All in all, it was a great time!

We went on 10/8 and we would do it again! We got there at 5:10 and we missed the pre-opening drinks. The Club aspect was really cool. Loved DJ Thibodeaux - he really had it going. Best thing is that it was not overcapacity like, sadly, so many Disney events (and we went during a sold-out night). Plenty of space for everyone.

Villains
A lot has been said that some villains were more interactive than others. I think the interaction depends on who you "gel" with. Different people will "gel" differently. Our interaction with Evil Queen was so much fun. Queen of Hearts was a blast too. Cruella was just OK. We loved the entire atmosphere and rotating through the villains.

Food and Drinks
Food and drink preferences are also very subjective. For us, some of the food was really good. We particularly liked the spicy shrimp. Kids, DH, and I must have polished off like 5 bowls. Some of the food was just OK. For example, the pig wings were tough, tasteless, and dry. Beef was overcooked too. The mixed drinks were way too sweet for our taste. But, they had red wine, which was OK and it was open bar, with cans of soda for the kids. Kids loved the desserts. They were cute and unique. I had small tastes of a few and they were really, really good. I'm on a carb-restricted diet, so I only had like half a bite of each.

Show/Dancing/Music
DH and I enjoyed it and so did the kids (ages 9 and 11). We went to the early showing and there were lots of little ones dancing. For the performances, Dr. Facilier kicked them out and the kids stayed off the dance floor during the performances.

Overall and Value
Value is also subjective, but compared to the prices of the ticketed parties, we felt this was a better value simply because you are not crowded and you do get some real food and drinks. Overall, it just felt different than the regular Disney events. It was one of the most unique things we did this trip. Being that it was our 9th trip, we were looking for something new to do. I hope they continue to offer it, and even think about some new events.

I think they could have had a wider variety of food as the buffet seemed quite limited. They had 8 different deserts (2 for each villain) but very limited dinner food.

As others have said the queen of hearts and cruella are great. So funny. They had the longes lines and were running behind cause they spent a good amount of time with everyone.

The evil queen and malificent were true to character and intimidating but in a good way.

The music was good and people did get up in dance. Unfortunately my husband refuses to dance and I didn't want to go by myself so we didn't dance but it looked like everyone was having fun.

They do kick everyone out quickly but we were at the 5.15pm one so understand the need to get ready for the next seating.

Ours was a once in a lifetime trip so I won't be going again, but if I was a frequent visitor and had some spare cash I would probably go again to the later one and take someone who would want to drink and dance with me and make a night out of it.

I have been looking forward to CV for several months, so I'm checking daily for cancelations for Saturday, October 29th , so I can change mine from the 28th to the 29th. No good flight times for Friday to get there in time for 5:15pm without breaking the bank this late in the game. Ugh! But no stress here, have to stay calm, so I can remain somewhat healthy to make it to the World. And just over 3 weeks ago there this event wasn't even sold out. Ha! Too many great reviews.

Almost there again. Was able reserve CV for 2 on October 29th @ 8:30pm. Just need a little more .

yes you will have time. When exiting Fantasmic! take the same way you entered and that will put you right across from Rock n Rollercoaster
