Club Sunterra vs. Cypress Pt.

Can someone please tell me the difference between these two properties? I wanted Cypress Pt. but I can only get Club Sunterra at CP and am not sure if it is the same thing.

I believe they are the same thing. Sunterra is like the parent/timeshare company. There is a Sunterra "Powhatan Plantation" in Williamsburg, VA. I think there are many Sunterra properties across the nation.

It's the same thing. Sunterra owns both Cypress Pointe and Cypress Pointe Grandevillas

Thanks for the info. Sorry if I am a little thick, and not getting this, but do they share pools, amenities, etc. I heard nice things about boat races and activites for the kids at Cypress Pt. Do the same things apply at Grandvillas?

I believe if you stay at one property, you can also use all amenities on the other. I have not stayed there yet, but have a trip planned in June, and this is what I understand from what I've read on this board & from Sunterra!

If I book the Sunterra apartment at the Embassy Vacation Suites then i get a smaller apt than if I book under Embassy vacation suites (where you get an older style 3 bed, rather than a lock off apt)

Maybe its the same at cypress pointe?

Was there in January....All amenities are open to both sides of the resort.

It wasn't hard. They are both full size twin beds. One is tucked up under the other. We shuffled the furniture around a bit. It *is* a VERY small room. There's a TV in there, but they'll mostly only want to be in there to sleep. I'm going to try to get my pics posted on my site today. There's a pic of that room.....I took them as we were packing up to go, so the rooms look a mess, but you'll be able to get a good idea of the layout.
