).If you book CL, do not add the DDP. We will be at the YC CL in August, and will eat in the lounge since it makes a meal with what they offer.
That really depends on a lot of factors. Some of the club levels do seem to offer a bit more food in their lounge, so where you're staying could have some bearing on your decision. The type and amount of food is hard to be considered a meal replacement plan. Breakfast is deluxe continental, which includes fruit, yogurt, bagels and cold cereal. Snacks are out from 11am to 4pm, but we're talking bowls of pretzels, M&M's, bags of popcorn. The appetizers can include sliced vegetables, cheese & crackers, then usually 2 hot items, like chicken skewers, spring rolls, soup. If you're really light eaters, you can probably put enough on your plate to fill you up, but the hours the appetizers are served are limited from 5pm - 7pm. Are you staying in a resort that would be convenient for you to get back to within that 2 hour timeframe?
Are you planning on a lot of downtime at the resort, or are you comfortable coming back for a late afternoon break, having some appetizers and then hitting the park again? It really does come down to personal touring styles, probably the ages of any kids you might have travelling with you (great snacks for teens, but no way would my son make that his meal).
I would just list out everything, like location, touring style, who you're travelling with, are there restaurants you really would like to try out..... You can go to Allearsnet.com and click on the "dining" link. You can then select the restuarants and get an idea of what you'd pay out of pocket. I think knowing all that, would help you make your decision a lot easier.
) and we always have credits left over!!
) so for them they were in heaven
)and I felt it was very worth it and the DDP was so easy to useI don't really think there's a right or wrong answer here. Everyone has different eating styles. I know families that have a large, later lunch and will eat a very light dinner. Sometimes being on vacation will change eating habits completely, with people snacking on lighter meals throughout the day. Looking at supersmartguys signature, it appears that he's stayed at the BC club level, so he's probably already aware of what types of food will be available.Other than for breakfast, there really is not enough food available in the YC club level lounge to make a meal out of such food. In the evening, all that is put out is cheese, crackers, dips, soup and an appetizer. It is not intended that such food take the place of dinner.
This is great information - My DD and I are staying on the Atrium Club Level at CR in August - Can't wait!!Not everyone books the club level for the food in the lounge. It's a nice amenity, but there are plenty of guests who don't plan their park hopping around getting back for appetizers or desserts. For them, it may just be having the secure building or floor, a deluxe room, or utilizing some of the other services that they offer. That's why everyone just needs to educate themselves and decide what's best for their family.I would do Club Level without the DDP because if you are planning a lot of ADR's, when would you have time to take advantage of the foods during breakfast and the hors d'oeuvres at 5:00 PM?
