Hi Disers!
We just flew home from our 1 week Poly CL. We had great choices for food. Both my granddaughters are vegetarian. ("Nonna, animals are friends and we don't eat friends!", quoted from the 11 y/o.)
Anywho, they really went out of their way to make us some great vegetarian options. The biggest hit was the stir fry. The chef made it for all of us and we received 4 bowls most nights! There were plenty of options for breakfast and mid day. If the girls wanted pb and jelly for lunch, they gave them the supplies to make their own.(Neither of them like grape uncrustables, and Disney only carries grape.) We all are huge fresh fruit eaters and the strawberries were fresh and delicious and out all 3 "meal times".
There were great meat and fish options every day, including shrimp, lamb, chicken, and beef. There was also a plant based Korean meatball that was better than many meatballs I've had. DH (huge carnivore) loved them as well. My favorite appetizer was not meat, but was fresh buratta cheese with fruit bobas and a mango chutney. Be still my heart! They were absolutely delicious!
There was not one time we were disappointed with the food! In fact, DH has now declared that the Poly is our forever resort, lol!
