Hello All,

My family of 5 are booking our 1st trip to Disney World this year November 23rd for 6 days. I have been reading about the Club Level Paid fastpass service that gives you 6 fast passes (3 addition to the included ones) and the option to reserve them at 90days vs. 60days. We are staying at the Grand Floridian standard room but would have to move to the club level to buy this. Had some questions, I can’t really find anything on the Disney site.

1. Do we have to buy this for 6 days or can we just let’s say do 2 or 3 days of this? Do they have to be used consecutively? $50/day pp so no need to use it everyday.

2. Besides the 90day booking window and 3 additional fast passes, are there any dining perks? we still have many dining options we can’t book like the Cinderella Royal Table, Be Our Guest, Cheif Mickys to name a few (all booked up already :( )

3. Does anyone with experience say it is worth it? If I didn’t buy this service and book our 3 FPasses at 60day opening window will I get the rides and times we want? I understand i’m Traveling during a busy week so I want to take advantage if possible.

I’m a little burned due to the fact we just booked our trip last week and found almost all the dining spots we wanted to eat were fully booked. I didnt’ know it was this crazy!

Here’s info from the FP FAQ ADDENDUM Sticky:
Club Level Extra FP Trial Program Summary
Credit to: @GADisneyDad14

Basic Overview
  • $50 per person, per day, plus tax - 3 day minimum

  • Available 3/13/2018 and beyond

  • Includes three “Extra FPs” per day (in addition to your three ‘regular’ FPs)

  • Extra FPs and Regular FPs per paid day are bookable 90 days from your check-out date (yes, your check-out date, not check-in date)

  • The minimum three days do not need to be consecutive

  • Not everyone in your party must purchase this program, you can choose the individuals

  • The program requires a minimum two night CL or other eligible room category reservation

  • You are charged at the time of booking

  • There is currently no announced end date to this trial program, but like any Disney trial it could end at any time
Booking Info for the Extra FPs
  • Bookable 90 days from your check-out date

  • Booked via phone with Disney SignatureServices (DSS)

  • You select the Extra FP choices at the time of booking

  • The three Extra FPs can be modified via DSS later via phone, including the day of via phone (they give you an after-hours line to call as well since DSS closes at 5pm)

  • You cannot modify the three Extra FPs yourself, this can only be done by calling DSS

  • The three Extra FPs can be in any tier and any park
How this Works with the “Regular” Three FPs
  • Your regular three FPs per paid day can ALSO be booked via DSS at the 90-day before check-out mark (it’s not required, but is available at your discretion)

  • Once booked, you can immediately modify your three regular FPs yourself in MDX (but the three Extra FPs cannot be modified without calling DSS)

  • You can modify your three regular FPs to repeat a ride you have booked via an Extra FP

  • You cannot modify a regular FP to overlap a time window where you have an Extra FP booked
Cancellation Info / Reservation Changes
  • There is a 2 day cancellation period

  • If you book this and then cancel a CL (or otherwise eligible) reservation after booking or modify it to a non-eligible room, the package will be cancelled and you'll receive a refund
Trial Program Caveat
  • This is a trial program, all details are subject to change or modification

Only you can put a price on the extra fastpasses. How badly do you want to do some of the attractions? No dining perks that I've ever heard of. Keep checking dining reservations up to and including the day of. People change plans. It's very busy around Thanksgiving.

There are websites that search for reservation openings and text/email you when something opens up. I have used the one from Touring Plans (you have to pay for yearly service, which I think was $15 or something) and was able to get reservations for Ohana's, BOG, Tusker House, Chef Mickeys, and Brunch at the Top. All of these had previously been booked solid.
Good luck with your trip.

Here is a link to the touring plans reservation finder:

I think one of the free dining promotion windows is 11/24-11/27 - those promotions tend to create a lot of demand for ADRs, unfortunately.

As to the trial CL FP program, long thread but skimming the last 10 pages has a few detailed recent reviews and you can also ask your question there: Club Level Fastpass+ Purchase (Logistics)

Really hard to gauge the "worth it" question on this offering, from my perspective. It's very personal to one's particular park touring style and FP needs/wants.

Lastly, :welcome: to the DIS!

To answer your questions:

1. Has to be 3 days but does not need to be back to back. You can pick any 3 (or more) days out of the 6 days of your trip. I just came back from a 4 day trip. I found 3 day was enough for my family....

2. No dining perks. But as mentioned by others, you can use TouringPlans' reservation finder. People change plans all the time, up to the last 24 hours. There is still chances to get a table.

3. If you book before your 60 days window, you can get all 6 FPs booked at once.. You can also call Disney Signature Services to see what FPs are available before you book it. I find the CL FP valuable since my family don't go to WDW frequently. Since you are traveling during busy holiday season, CL FP might be worthwhile for you. But its really up to you.

I just stayed at GF in the Main building during the past week for 4 days. It's a beautiful resort. Hope you will enjoy your time there!
