Club level at HRH compared to WDW?

We have stayed Club level several times at WDW and are used to their Concierge staff emailing us forms to ask what we would like for them to arrange for us. We are 4 weeks out and have never heard from HRH staff. Is it just a different expectation than I have with Disney? Also, can we get discounted Universal park tickets at HRH or should I order them online?

I know they don't offer discounts at the hotel for tickets. If your do an advance purchase online you do get $10 off right now. ;)

We have used club in all 3 of the hotels, and a few at Disney. While when you are in the club room they're pretty much the same as you might prefer one over another. We haven't been notified by either of Universals hotels, but have called with some prior request or questions with great response. In previous years you didn't need to make a ADR until your there. This year might be different with HP but I don't know.We really enjoy club level at Universal. Hope you have a great trip:thumbsup2:cool1::cool1::cool1:

Just some feedback about our experience at HRH concierge:

A few years ago we stayed at HRH concierge and I was not impressed. The employees seemed to use it as their personal social room, and in the mornings it was SUPER crowded with people clammoring for their "free" bagels and muffins, saving seats for their friends and family, etc.

When we went in there in the evening for cookies, etc. I felt like I was barging in on the employee break room. It just didn't seem worth it at all.

Mefordis - What time of year was your less than stellar experience? Just curious (please don't say October! )

It way May. It wasn't that it was busy, it's just that the people working the concierge seemed like they were into themselves and didn't really provide attentive service. The front desk people were absolutely awesome, though.

I'm still staying at the HRH just not concierge.
