Club Level at Dolphin: Worth it?

We are going to the Dolphin is just a few days and are thinking about cashing in my Starwood points for Club Level privs but want a renovated room (CL is not renovated yet.). Never done the CL at the Dolphin. Is it worth the points? Is it open all day or just in the mornings? Is there wine if open in the evenings? Totally clueless on this subject and would appreciate any and all help.
