Hello,
Well first off I want to know what age is required the dine at Club 33.

Also is Club 33 just a restaurant?

Okay well my birthday is in a couple of weeks. I wouldn't mind waiting a couple of extra years just to dine at Club 33. So I need someone to tell me how to get in Club 33. What do you need to make a reservation in Club 33? It would be my DREAM to be allowed in there. So please tell me how to make a reservation at Club 33.

Also how much would be a dinner for a family of 5? I don't want it to pricey.

Thanks!

Hi there, Club 33 is a very exlusive club restaurant and you do have to be sponsored by a member (probably by a member whom you know personally.) It's quite pricey, unless you consider the fact that the price includes a parkhopper for the day you eat there. Lunch is something like $55 per person and dinner is much more. Not including wine, tip, etc. I've heard of Dinner totals for a normal family coming in at upwards of $500. When we go later this fall or next spring we're doing only lunch. Or maybe the Sunday brunch.

Children are allowed but having one who is acting up (and whom you don't remove) might have negative ramifications on your sponsor. Personally I wouldn't take kids much under age 10 there but I'm paranoid about my kids behaving properly in restaurants.

Thanks for the response! If I do get the chance to get there (I would wait a decade if I have too) I would probably go for lunch. Also, may I ask if you are a member? I personally do not know any members so I probably lost all my hope. However membership is way too price ($9,000 when you join and $3,000 annually).

We are not members - we just know one personally.

Besides the cost, the waitlist to join is reportedly 14 years right now! At least that's what I've heard!

GL!

Not to my knowledge. Sorry! It's just like many private clubs in that regard.

ETA: While the restaurant is very nice and has a neat history the joy of visiting it doesn't even compare to visiting DLR in general, IMO. There is much Disney magic to be had all over the park.

Actually the wait list right now is closed so even if you wanted to join the wait list you can't even join that!!

I too would love to dine at club 33. We honeymooned in Disneyland Paris, spent our 5th anniversary at WDW having dinner at California Grill and are spending our 10th anniversary at Disneyland (we plan on booking Napa Rose chefs table.)

There are some things in life you just can't have and for anyone who doesn't know a member, Club 33 is one of those things!! I too would so love to eat there, but accept unless a miracle happens I won't.

Last week we did a tour at Disneyland Paris. Our VIP guide has been the VIP guide for people very high up in Disney, he was Michael Eisners VIP guide a while ago and he said he would love to eat at club 33, but can't get a connection to do so!!

Well I guess the blue bayou will have to do. However if Disney opened Club 33 to the public it would be full 100% of the time and be booked in advanced for years! It would be a real money maker.

I think they are already doing quite well for themselves. They are keeping the demand up obviously if the waiting list is that long. I don't think they need to do anything else with the club.

I am determined to get a reservation there someday! One of these days I'll send in a request to get added to the waiting list!

We just went a few weeks ago for Sunday Brunch. While it was delightful, and something I had long dreamed of doing- it is very pricey. Brunch was $72 pp and the kids $52 each. Since we had all the champagne we wanted, we didn't pay for any extra alcohol, but even so with tax/tip it was about $90 per adult. It does include a Park HOpper ticket for the day- which was $92- so if you can use it as your hopper for the day, it's a good deal, actually. Not such a good deal for my family when we all have APs though! So even if I get the chance to return with the member that I know, I won't be taking the whole family again. It's a lot of money for lunch!! :rotfl:

As a fan of Disney history, it was truly a magical place to be for me. For DH and the kids, it was neat, but they don't have the same appreciation that I do. Of course, I've been hoping to meet a member for at least 10 years!

Hopefully, the other posters don't have to wait quite that long to get a chance to dine there!

What is so extra great about it???? I mean i know the way not everyone can get in makes it speacial... but is there anything really speacial inside?

Bonita- I think it is the experience! It's so exclusive! Plus I hear the food is quite lovely, and if you are just visiting the park for the day, you are essentially getting in for free since the meal costs the same as a park hopper? I've also seen the photos and it looks cool!

I think it's special because it was a place where Walt wanted to entertain special guests (both business and personal). That his wife decorated the place. It has a lot of neat Disney artifacts to see, like the animatronic bird in the trophy room.

The food is fabulous, and so is the service. It's absolutely fun riding in the old glass elevator, and then watching all the people below while you eat.

It's just a neat experience, and I feel so lucky to have been able to experience it. We did lunch there in October, and we'll be doing dinner there in June.

That's exactly how I feel about it! I have yet to be able to dine there, but when I do I will feel honored to do so! It is such a neat place of Disney history to experience!
