Club 33 seasonal changes?

It depends. The non-precious metal pints/keychains are inexpensive. The mugs/hats/glasses are slightly more than the park, but not bad. Ornaments, affordable. The Dooneys are about on par with the regular ones, maybe a little more, but nothing like you'll pay on ebay like I had to do for my wife's Xmas present.
I wonder if members get in trouble if they are caught selling merch on ebay or something? Or do they not care.

Can you give us a rough estimate on what the prefix for lunch costs? We want to try and gift card our next trip to have everything pre-paid ahead of time.
And if we end up not being able to do Club 33, we will just have plenty of GC funds for disney souvenirs and DH won't have much debate room. :rolleyes1
Starts at $90, plus drinks, plus tax and tip. So, dinner and soft drink is $95, plus $26 for tax and tip, is $121. Add an alcoholic drink, wine pairings, bottle of wine, coffee, hot chocolate, and it keeps creeping up.

How much do souvenirs run? Are they way over priced for being C33 merch or are they similar to park prices?
They really are in line with park prices. The Dooney's are same pricing as the Dooneys of the same type in Clothiers. A difference though, I can't get my AP discount at the club.

They will lose their membership. I know someone who made a reservation for someone they didn't know. That person actually listed a Dooney on eBay while she was eating lunch. Then found out the Dooney's were member only, and proceeded to try and find a member while in the bathroom. That member told management. The member that got her in got a 30 day suspension for not screening better. Needless to say, members got really tight on who they let in because of the suspensions that get handed out.

So they were already selling merch before they had it? That seems pretty silly.
Are there other member only items? I think my mother might have wanted a Dooney, but I think doing C33 will be enough of a treat she will survive. :charac2:

From the D&Bs they had a week and a half ago one print was member only and the other was not. There were some pins that were member only as well, however two of the member only pins were no longer exclusive to just members for purchase when I was there.

There are Dooneys that are not currently only for members. There are items that are members only, they will be clearly marked in the case.

I'm pretty sure I know that member as well. They don't do unaccompanied reservations any longer directly because of that incident. I'm simply baffled that someone would put a member's membership at risk like that. It's crazy that some people have such little respect for club member's financial, time, and reputation.

I saw something JUST THIS MORNING where it was even an accompanied member (was in Noveau) who posted something in violation of club rules. When challenged on it by myself and others, they were obstinate and didn't seem to care what they might be doing to the member. If I was a member, I sure wouldn't be doing unaccompanied reservations for anybody who I didn't have a solid feel on the character of. Its sad because it limits so many true fan's ability for a chance to experience the amazing treat of a meal at the club.

I just saw this on eBay:
2 Disneyland Park Hopper Tickets with Club 33 Access

What do you mean the don't do unaccompanied reservations?

i love how the first line on the ticket is Not for resale.

What do you mean the don't do unaccompanied reservations?
An unaccompanied reservation is when a member makes a reservation for a guest when the member won't be dining with them. The member is responsible for their guests behavior and dress. A member can be reprimanded or suspended for their guests not being on time, not following dress code, taking pictures of celebrities, taking pics in the bathroom, taking video, and the list goes on. Because so many guests misbehave (I've seen theft, drunken behavior resulting in a broken window, improper clothing) many members have decided they will not make unaccompanied reservations unless they know the person ver well.

I read whoever's post wrong. i thought they were stating that Clubb 33 was no longer allowing unaccompanied reservations, not that particular member.
I was thinking, okay there goes that plan.
Just mis-read, but still hopeful now.

I hope its not all that common, but yes, guests have stolen C33 chargers, broke that window on the NW corner (scared the heck out of me when it happened), and I'm sure many more antics across the spectrum. C33 is a very special thing and to put a member's membership at risk is just unconscionable.

I know for dinner you need to dress up a bit nicer. But what is the dress code for lunch? Will we likely need to bring a change of clothes and change into something nicer before lunch?

I would still go with slacks and dress shoes and a collared shirt (polo) for men for lunch minimum. Here is what I recieved last time. It doesn't specify for lunch, but I'd go with what they stated for dinner personally. I've only done lunch there twice.

Dress Code: After 5:00pm, gentlemen are required to wear collared shirts, trousers and closed-toe shoes. Ladies
are required to wear an informal dress or pants with blouse and appropriate footwear, including open-toe
sandals, but no beach or workout footwear. Shorts or hooded sweatshirts are not permitted, but fashionably worn
jeans are acceptable provided they are not torn. All children, especially those ten (10) years and older, must be
dressed in the same manner as adults.

Well, I don't know how you dress for the park! That said, jeans (no frays/holes) and walking length shorts are acceptable. Blouses or polo shirts are fine. Sneakers are also fine. Sandals are fine for women (no flip flops period.) No sandals for men, must be closed toe. Also leggings are questionable. Athletic wear is not acceptable, and it can be a fine line. No tank tops.

Here is a pic of my kids dress at lunch.

And you will find a wide variety of dress. My kids' pic is probably about normal, but you will also find people dressed "to the nines". I know one guy who goes once a month or so, and he goes in a black tux every time. You can always bring clothing and put in a main street locker.

It amazes me what some people wear to Club 33. I feel it's special, so why not dress with some class? It's not hard to look nice and still be comfortable. I once saw a party with torn and dirty clothing and an air of total disregard for the venue and the other diners. I just don't get people sometimes. But for me, getting dressed for Club 33 is part of the fun.

That's crazy about people doing that in the Club. I think some people take for granted how special the area is. If they haven't put in a lot of research or understanding of it, they aren't going to treat it with respect.
