Club 33 seasonal changes?

I have heard several people mention themed events or seasonal menus for club 33. Do they do anything special during Halloween time. We might have an opportunity to have a reservation the week of Halloween.
Will they still have regular Club 33 merchandise for purchase?
I would assume they will still offer lunch dining, but will the menu be very different?
Some of these questions may seem silly to a frequent visitor, but for me this is a once in a life opportunity and I don't want to miss out on anything. And I'm super anxious and already going crazy this far out.
Also, can you pay with a disney GC or is that considered inappropriate?

Thank you in advance.

No changes in the main dining room. Anything unique will be in the lounge.

Yes. There are a number of pins, ball caps, key chains usually available to guests.

It will be different as they currently are running an Italian theme. Last I heard this will change in September.

Thank you. If we are eating in the dining room are we able to take a peak in the lounge?
Also is the lunch a pre-fix menu like the dinner?

The member has to be present to go into the lounge. Lunch is also a pre-fix menu.

The lunch menu is similar to dinner. Here is what it was as of last week when a friend went.

Hints of Italy
Milan, Florence, Siena, Genoa
PRIMI
*Smoked Tomato Arancini, Stracchino Cheese, Pomodoro
Sautéed Seasonal Mushrooms, Parmigiano Cloud, Creamy Polenta
Calamari Sicilian Style, Capers, Potatoes, Jewel Tomatoes
*Baked Ricotta “Gnudi”, Sage Brown Butter
INSALATA E ZUPPA
“Tricolore” Salad, Creamy Roasted Garlic Vinaigrette
Green Garbanzo Pancetta Broth, Summer Mushroom, Parmesan, Ciabatta Crostini
ENTRATA
Tortellini of Free Range Chicken Breast, Roasted Chicken Jus, Lemon, Parsley (This is my daughter's favorite.)
Sautéed Garlic Scampi Prawns, Lemon, Butter, Fava Beans, Potato Gnocchi
*Eggplant “Involtini”, Roasted Peppers, Crescenza Cheese, Tomato
Sautéed Veal Loin, Veal Sweetbreads, Mushroom Ragu
Angus Beef “Rollatini”, Artichokes, Cabernet Jus
FINALE
*Peach Semifreddo “Cannoli”, White Chocolate Panna Montata
*Chocolate-Hazelnut “Bomboloni”, Vanilla Caramel Budino, Cherries (Another favorite!!)
*Mascarpone Gelato “Affogato”, Espresso Sauce, Amaretto Cookies

Now, that said, the menu will be different in October...

Peaking in the lounge is an absolute no-no. You can see a very small area from the foyer, but you are not allowed down the wine hallway.

Do they have any "kids" menu items. We will be going with a 13 year old who isn't very adventurous when it comes to food. If not, I will tell her to suck it up and enjoy, but just curious.

Yes, but I don't know how tight they are with regards to the age (9 and under). It is also 3 courses.

Aw, man!! So if I ever get in to the super secret club, I won't *really* be in?! Fine, I don't want to go at all then!

(Trying reverse psychology on the universe)

That's interesting. I would assume the lounge would be easier access than the dining room.

The lounge is small (seats maybe 60) and is open for members to drop in. When we have been able to go up, it is often quite full. It is more relaxed. It has its own menu.

They have been pretty accommodating (also non-adventurous eater children) with the kid's menu for us. 10, 11, 11.5.. still allowed to order off of it. We are honest with her age as well. They just seem to want to accommodate the party. Your mileage may vary.

LOVE THE LOUNGE!!! Going again is high on my Disney wish-list.

That's neat! It would be so fun to do Club 33, maybe someday.

Can you give us a rough estimate on what the prefix for lunch costs? We want to try and gift card our next trip to have everything pre-paid ahead of time.
And if we end up not being able to do Club 33, we will just have plenty of GC funds for disney souvenirs and DH won't have much debate room. :rolleyes1

Lunch was $90/person for the adult menu with no drinks. When I ate there a week ago it was about $130-135/person after tax and tip with an adult beverage.

How much do souvenirs run? Are they way over priced for being C33 merch or are they similar to park prices?

It depends. The non-precious metal pints/keychains are inexpensive. The mugs/hats/glasses are slightly more than the park, but not bad. Ornaments, affordable. The Dooneys are about on par with the regular ones, maybe a little more, but nothing like you'll pay on ebay like I had to do for my wife's Xmas present.
