Club 33 "Regulars" - Question about my 1st trip

This Saturday is the walk-through for members to see the expansion and get the opportunity to purchase the new (much maligned) logo merchandise first. We can't go due to another event but I'm pretty excited to finally see the magic unveiled in a little over a month!

I'm sure if your friend invited you, they took into the account the new rules for non-members going unaccompanied. What a great gift! Enjoy!

That would be cool if they do that.

Well, since the new rules were sent out after the OP posted, members were not aware of the limitations. I hope it works out for this poster.

Is there a limit on number of guests per booking? Is a table for 4 just one booking or 4 bookings? I was hoping to dine on August 9th (Saturday). So booking would be available on August 6th?

One table, one booking. If you are not dining with the member, yes, 3 days prior to the reservation for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Thank you all for the updates about the new Club 33 non-member rules that are being put in place. I have reached out to my Club 33 member contact to check on things. I certainly know how much this is a true honor and gift from any member, and I don't want to put them out in any way possible.

Obviously though, this is still a dream of mine to make happen -- for very specific, personal reasons. While the details are too personal to be shared on a public forum (not to mention the unlikelihood that it could spoil the surprise for the person this is personal for first and foremost), I'd be happy to explain them in a PM. I know these chat boards are like a second home for me from time to time -- even if I don't come around often -- and you'd be surprised how much they can help and how people can become family.

Thank you all again for everything so far. This visit is a long time away still, but it's been more than helpful, and my fingers are crossed that it still comes true.

33FT (OK, so I made that little signature up on the spot to be "cool" sounding, I admit it. :cool2: )

Well, I heard back from my contact. They are definitely still willing to help me out, and attempt to make a reservation for us. So obviously now my hope (fingers crossed) is that 14 days out for a Monday-Thursday will still be available for the time we will be in town. (I should note that we are traveling from far away, and are constricted to a certain timeframe).

Thanks. It actually came about before the new rules were announced. But as I mentioned in the above post, it is still their intention to help us out. Obviously now it's just a matter of if a reservation can be secured 14 days out.

Good news!!! I actually think that the 14-day time frame is pretty good. Since they are now offering lunch and dinner every day of the week, that does open up spots. (I think that 3-day weekend limit is a bit much, however. Glad you won't have to stress yourself too much for that!)

Enjoy your time!

Thanks, that's my hope. I didn't realize lunch wasn't offered every day before, and was going to be after the re-open. Then again, why would I know? :confused3;)

Lunch was offered every day - it was dinner that wasn't offered every day for part of the year.

Also - in response to your original question, even though the buffet is (probably) gone, we always much preferred lunch. The sunlight in the Club, the jazz music and sounds of the park below - it was just our preferred atmosphere.

Lunch was always offered daily but dinner was Thursday through Sunday during most of the year. During the summer months they would add it daily, but usually just June through Labor Day.

You'll have a great time.

Ahh, OK. Gotcha. That's nice indeed for those of you who are members and can now enjoy some additional times.

So a lot of members are going on Saturday and I think we're re-evaluating being able to go so we can see some people we only see at Candlelight in Dec. It's just so exciting!

I did hear that the Trophy Room is still intact and the hope is it may not be eliminated after all. I was told the expansion did not eliminate it as was originally planned; I can't vouch for this information as I personally don't have any way to verify it.
I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but the Trophy room is officially no more. I was able to go with some friends last night, and it was a very informative meeting. Lots of good food. The Pimm's Cup is great, as was the Summer Punch. It was a lot of fun.

Oh, too bad. Well, it was a feeble hope at best. Thanks for the update, Malcon10t! Glad you had a good time!

Thank you so much for the updates everyone. I think our days of visiting Club 33 are probably over as we were guests of a corporate account and I imagine they will use all their reservations for clients now. Oh well, we had fun while it lasted! I will live vicariously through all of you. :)
