Club 33 Ears....has anybody seen them lately?

I think the ears would be PERFECT for a grocery store run.....even if you don't live in the LA area where people actually KNOW what Club 33 is!!!

LOL!!! I keep hoping someone will notice my 33 baseball cap and key chain, but so far, the only notice I've gotten was at DL

In my excitement of going to the Club......and my geographic location.....and all of my incredibly uneducated Disney friends....NOBODY has a clue why I am SOOOOOOOOOOOO excited to be going.

I could be dressed head to toe in Club 33 garb and people would be like

I am glad some people get it!!

Even the hubs is STILL trying to figure out why this is a BIG deal. He is saving his comments for AFTER.

We got them in Feb., (due to the kindness of two strangers who I still love beyond all reason--thank you kind strangers!), but I don't know about any recently. One thing that surprised us is that after we bought them, the Mad Hatter would not embroider my daughter's name on them. I guess they worry that they may be ruined, and don't want to take the risk.

Hehe, I hear you on that! I wore my Club 33 hat somewhere the other day and someone walked up to me and said, "Did you actually go there or did someone get you the hat?" It was asked in a way that DH & I knew that they know what Club 33 is.

About fifteen minutes later DH overheard her and her husband explaining to their friends what Club 33 was and talking about my hat. It was a secretly fun moment --- one during which you quietly smile to yourself.

Still appreciative of the opportunity I was given on the day I got my hat.

DizMe, I hope you get that wine glass.

LOL....Dizme and I live in the same town and are friends. Actually, I'm the one looking for the wine glass. When I was at the Club back in May, my sister in law bought a wine glass, and when she got home and unwrapped it, it was missing the "33" logo. It was just a plain wine glass. They've been saying for 6 months that they would mail me another one. I'll be there again next month, so I'll pick one up then...now that I know they have them again. Have a great time at the Club lizdotcom99!! It really is a magical experience!!

A former DISer here got a Club 33 Mickey Mouse ears for me and sent them to me as a surprise. They did embroider my name on them. Maybe they changed the rules.

Wow!! You guys are really sweet, offering to get me a wine glass . As disneyluvr2 said, she is the one who has been waiting (and waiting and waiting) for the wine glass! disneyluvr2 and I met through these boards and are now best buds. We have another great friend to thank for making it possible for us to fulfill the dream of getting to go to Club 33, so I will join all of those who want to express their thanks to those people.

I've also had the pleasure of getting to know a couple of other people on this thread. I'm so glad we were able to share Club 33 and other experiences (and thanks, DIS, for making it possible!!!!) I hope one of these days we can meet up at DLR!

I was able to get some pins (Christmas and plain Club 33 logo) in addition to the hats, and disneyluvr got me the key chain . I *really* lusted after the members ring but even though the member would have gotten it for me, I didn't have $500 to cough up for it so, sadly, I did not get that little goodie . They should be getting the new 33 Christmas pins soon, though, and as I recall, at $15 they were a bit cheaper than the ring.

I had a dream the other night that I was in Club 33 and bought the very last wine glass there! The dream was so real I almost checked my glass cabinet when I woke up in the morning

I would love to see what the current wine glass looks like as I may try and very carefully paint a wine glass to look similar until I can track a real one down.

I love my drivers licence too! What I love more though is the look on everyone's face when I have to show it. LOL!! It cracks me up when some sour face TSA person at the airport gets a big grin on their face when they see it! That makes my day to cheer them up!

Wow I didnt realize the ears were such a hot commodity. We were able to get ears, a bracelet and the ivory collared shirt while there in June.

Yep, that's my real drivers license! I think I caught them totally off guard when I whipped out my ears and asked if I could wear them for my photo. Wish I had a dollar for everyone that said "I can't believe they let you do thaty!!"
