My husband has managed to find an in for Club 33. He will be in LA for business and if it all works out, he'd like me to join him for an afternoon at the park and dinner. I'll drive in and arrive around noon or a little later and the plan would be that we'd go to the park and then to dinner. His hotel is in LA so changing for dinner is not really feasible. What do I wear? I want to be comfortable in the park but not out of place at Club 33. We'll most likely be dining on a Tuesday or Wednesday evening (if that makes a difference) and it doesn't matter to us if our dinner reservations are on the early side or later.

I was sort of thinking nice blouse, dark dressy jeans and flats. That would be too much for the park but not terrible for dinner. Any advice?

Also, we've done the parks many times but have never managed a tour "Walk in Walt's Disneyland" tour. We're on limited time, but if we could sneak it in, should we? It's been awhile since we've done anything Disney without the kiddoes.

Thanks!

Oh and my husband would probably prefer to wear a collared golf-style shirt and nice jeans with tennis shoes or casual leather lace-up shoes (not the kind one would would wear with slacks). Would that be okay? We tend to be conservative and neatly dressed even when we are very casual.

I would have your DH ask the person getting him the reservation for the latest/current dress code information.

That would be fine.

You could invest in a locker and change. Swapping your shirt and shoes would take 10 minutes max. When someone invites you to a members only club I tend to think it's better err on the side of a little over dressed than going for the bare minimum and being possibly underdressed.

I would wear a dress that's comfortable but flattering-like one I'd wear for travel-and either nice sandals or bring shoes and change. How exciting!

When I went for lunch (summer), I wore a dress that looked nice but comfortable and wore my black Crocs flats. They matched the dress, looked like totally cute flats, but are very comfortable to wear all over the park. Have fun!

I've got a button-down shirt on every time I've dined there and dress slacks (Tie too I think). The wife wears dresses. In the lounge, I think I had on jeans and a polo. It's a special occasion, so I like to dress well for those
