Club 33 admittance

So before I pull out of a longtime membership and very expensive investment I will be handing out reservations just like Disney.

Being a new member I cannot yet respond. I plan to sit back on the sidelines where I have for years now that I have voiced my concerns.

You are stating you are a longtime member, then you say you are a new member.

As for them having after hour events, those have been going on for years. But they have never been as cheap as the Off the Map event.

And yes, the Off the Map was the same location/decor/chef, but it was a much smaller "meal". If you went to the Candlelight Processional dinner member event, you had a 6 course meal (and it was SOOOO good), with wine pairings, and gifts. (I was lucky enough to get to go, and even took a DisDiva with me!!) The D23 was 3 courses (appetizer, entree, dessert.)

I do disagree with the D23 event, but it is Disney's club. Personally, I probably disagree more with how cheaply it was sold....

I believe he is referring to being a longtime member of Club33, but a new member of the DIS (hence the "earning my ears" and a post count of 8). New members of the DIS don't automatically have access to all of the features of the board.

Thank for listening to me vent. I know you all hope I am wrong, I hope I am too. As for all the pm's I have received the reservation offer was for the OP. I knew I would be swamped with pm's. I just wanted to say that was extremely kind of you to do!!! How amazing to be able to share such a wonderful experience with another. I am shocked and surprised in the best of ways by your giving generosity!!

Sorry to thread hijack again, but if it were a pirates event held at Club 33, why didn't they have it in the Blue Bayou? I mean, you can see the pirates ride from that restaurant, but not from Club 33...

From hearing about the event and ones in the past. You go dinner in your club and a walk through of POTC. Though it sounds like the one last night had a lot of changes and they can't walk through anymore.
