Clothing Request...

I found out this week my mom is taking Dfiance and I on a 8 day Eastern Caribeian Cruise! Yahoo! Tickets, transportation, etc is taken care of. But because we have been supporting our goddaughters and I quit my job to take care of them I plain old am broke and can't afford all the new clothes I need for the cruise (size change). I have some around the house stuff and one or two nice outfits, but not 8 days worth of nice shorts/tops for day, pants/top for dinner and dress outfits for two formal nights. On top of buying sandals, bathing suits, luggage, etc.
I know awhile back there was a thread for a clothing exchange, if anyone has any 22/24's or 26/28 they are "passing on" I would love to be their next "home" until I get into the next smaller size. (Maybe even 18/20's, I seem to be dropping fast so might fit these by cruise).
And if anyone is size 28 or larger I have some things I would like to give away that I am about to be too "small" for... Please PM me or post here.

I posted a thread with lots of summer things... mostly capris/shorts/ pants only one shirt. All are about 18-20. I can't find the thread....but check in the search (late at night is the best time) I posted a discriptin of everything. too much to do it again!lol
Anyway, they have sat in this pile in my room and to honest, although I hate to throw them out I am coming close to it! Tired of looking at them.
Ill take a pic and email it to you ( gonna have to be this weekend, have to borrow my dads cam) there yours if you want them.
Also, most of the clothes has stretch waist, so although you said 22 would be good this clothes may fit as well.

I have a couple things that I would be happy to pass along to you. Including some 'smart casual' pants --- one with a jacket to match. One pair is a fine black check the other a fine mossy green check with solid green jacket to match. These pants are Kathy Ireland [walmart] size 22/24. They are light weight and perfect for a cruise. I also have a navy blue tshirt material sleevless dress [long] with short sleeved 'jacket'. This has a print around the bottom that is 'islandy looking'. I wore it on our cruise in 2002 on island night. And finally a print long skirt that also matches the green jacket. I wore this for one of the more formal nights. I would be happy to pass all of these items on to you. I would only ask to be reimbursed for the shipping fee [after you receive the items].

Sorry I can't help with clothes, but I have a suggestion. Try altering your favorite clothes. I took a pair of pants, a skirt, and a dress to be altered. It cost me $25. Just a thought.

My biggest size was a 26 (I'm now a 16 misses ), but I don't have a lot of those sizes anymore. I do have 24s, 22s, and some 2X's I believe. I will see what I can do for you and you just PM your address and I will get them out to you as soon as I can.
When is your cruise so I send them in time? (nevermind...I just looked at your counter. )

It took a lot (pride) for me to post that about my lossing (weight) and it making it hard on me to afford new clothes... but I thought if I could post anywhere it would be here. Thanks everyone for the ideas and offers. Will think about about each one of you on the cruise, please pm your addies to me as well as I would love to send postcards.

What a nice problem to have! I have tossed all my bigger clothes to Salvation Army, but I have a nice size 18 trpoical print dress (floor length). I would be happy to pass it on to you if your cruise is after mine. I am going at the end of this month (feb.) When are you cruising? (It is sort of crepe-y material, bright medium blue with large floral pattern - much prettier than I can describe it!) Feel free to PM me if you are interested.

If there are any leftover sizes 18-22, please let me know. I just got laid off and can't afford a whole lot of money right now for clothes, as I'm losing rather consistently.
