OK - fashion police have at me -

Would you wear these with tennis (walking) shoes and socks at WDW? My walking shoes are plain white (Nike) and I always match my socks to my shirt. The only pictures I see on line are with sandals - and we all know how important comfortable shoes are at the parks!!

(I'm pooh sized and refuse to wear shorts, so capri pants are my best bet for being a little cooler)

I would. I also wear tennis shoes & socks w/ casual dresses. I have one Disney dress that is like a golf shirt that I wear to the parks. It is so comfy.

Besides, fashion police or not, I am dressing comfy and wearing my tennis shoes to WDW. It's not like I am in NYC or anything.

Size has nothing to do with it I wear my sneakers also white all the time in the parks. I will be try out my crocs with socks so if the fasion police are out they will right me up for sure!

At WDW we always dress for comfort. We could not care less what others think. Now if we come back and change for a nice resturant, we might spruce up a little but for the most part, we go for comfort. I love capris becasue they do not rub like shorts can, and in cool weather,I love the cotton/ knit pull on pants that lands end has. I wear my same new ballance walking shoes with both!!!NOw I do make us all wear matching shirts most days so no one looks at our shoes any ways.

I would. I never wear shorts, so capris and sneaker are the way I go. When there is so much walking involved, I would forget fashion and think about comfort.

I would have to go with comfort before fashion. I was debating wearing flip-flops in June and had to remember the miles of walking we did in December. Hello sneakers!

Thanks everyone! I think I will start searching for some nice comfy stretchy capri pants!! I'm thinking black, gray and denim...

Have any of you Pooh size gals tried the Just My Size stretch denim ones?

Definatley dress for comfort. Who cares iwhat people thinnk. I would like to think i dress like a "Diva" on a day to day basis, but when i am on vacation, hot and walking alot, I sport the fanny pack, socks and sneakers. My good friends laugh at my pics, but I don't care. I want to be comfortable!!!! There is no fashion police at WDW, anything goes!!!

I always wear a fanny pack and a wide-brimmed hat...holds my stuff, keeps the sun off my face, and gets laughs from my family.

I would go w/ lighter colors in the summer. Dark colors hold in heat. Light colors reflect heat. It is hot enough w/o adding to the misery.

:thumbsup2 I wear capri's with tennis shoes and socks at WDW. Mickey socks :cool1: at that.
I am going to be comfortable and my feet are going to be supported, and my peeve is they will not exposed to the stuff on the ground or in the rest rooms, or worse yet slide off on a ride, get lost and oh forbid, I have to step on the ground to get someplace to get some new shoes.
