Clothing or Accessory Swap Parties?

Has anybody ever held or attended a clothing or accessory swap party, where you bring things you are tired of and swap with friends for new things? I'm thinking about seeing if I can get one of these together with my friends, but not really sure how to go about making sure everybody has equal chances at things. I thought maybe having everybody label their own things, giving everybody a certain number of tickets when they come in teh door (like 5 each person), and they can get that number of new items, at least to start. Is there a better way to handle this? Any experience with this?

No, but I would LOVE IT! I suck at suggestions, but wanted to give you feedback. I would be first to RSVP. SOO much better than those Candlelight, Partylite, Pampered Chef, etc, etc. shows.
