Just curious here, would you, have you?

resort? maybe something like Hedonism. I've been to a clothing optional beach before.

There's a clothing optional campground not far from my house. I wouldn't go to that - something might be singed by the campfire  and not to mention all the mosquitos and ticks

We took the family to Orient Beach on St. Martin and then there was a stop in Martinque. Both French, both clothing optional. We exercized our option to remain in bathing suits. Our boys were on the cruise with us and they learned at an early age.....
There are just some people who should only undress in the closet!

I was at Orient Beach last week, and I couldn't agree more. Some people do have "MAGIC" mirrors.

LOL, I could use one of those magic mirrors.

too bad we can see who voted and how :hyper:

Im with you, Im dying to see who cast all them votes saying they want to go

I voted, yes, I have been. :teeth: You should have seen the piercings I saw on one guy....

Another "yes" vote due to a trip to St. Maarten in 2002. Even though we stayed on the Dutch side of the island, topless bathing was permitted and present at the beach where the Golden Eagle Catamaran excursion took us.

Our friends visited Orient Bay in 2001 and their comment was that "gravity always wins". They also said that there were very few bodies that should be in the "clothing optional" state. And I don't believe that any were present that day at Orient Bay.

LOL, Towncrier.

You know, folks, there are very good reasons most of us are not Playboy centerfolds or swimsuit models.

(most of us don't look very good without our clothes)

Take it from me. As a medical student, I saw lots of bodies, and most of them were not pretty . . .

I lived in the San Francisco Bay area for many years. A friend told me about going to the beach one cold winter day. She looked up to see a male jogger running past wearing only a big heavy wool sweater and running shoes. Just imagining that not so pretty picture still makes me laugh.

LOL, the reason I ask is that my daughter is going to a resort for a weekend and it's clothing optional. She very gently broke the news to me last weekend.
I flat out said no. Reflex I guess. She sort of smiled and reminded me that she is 18. And then my past bit me on my, well, you know. She reminded me of my beach weekend in France, clothing optional, at 19.
I hate it when she does that.

That's good that she told you. She could have just said she was going to a beach. Sounds like you have great communication with her.

It's hard to let our kids grow up!

I have on occasion visited beaches like these.

Not being funny, but you need a lot of sunblock and apply it often.

Been to Orient Beach in St. Martin also, and walked down the beach to the clothing optional resort, Club Orient I think. They were playing volleyball.:teeth: I vote for a Dis meet there!:teeth:

Mental note to self: There are SOME things I will NOT share with my kids . . . :o :o

Yes as a child when we lived in Germany. My nanny took me. Wouldn't go to one now only because I am too fat to go without clothes.

DISmeet at Club Orient? :earseek:

Why oh why did I open this thread BEFORE lunch. I won't be able to get that picture out of my head all day.
