Clothing for October trip

We are going to WDW the first week of October. I'm not sure what kind of clothing we should pack. Is it still warm enough for shorts or is it more capri weather? I ask because if it is shorts weather, then I want to get her some on clearance in the next size up.

It will still be hot. Occasionally, you may need a very light sweatshirt at night but not usually. We go at this time every year. The weather should be excellent! Enjoy.

We went last year around the middle of October and it was blazing HOT! My uncle, who lives in FL and works at AK, said it was a little hotter than usual. I would bring mostly cool clothing and maybe a pair of jeans and a sweat shirt, you can always wear them on your flight, I always think airplanes are freezing.

We went Oct 2006. We wore shorts, sundresses, tanks. We did take jackets for evenings but didn't ust them but maybe once. I think we made it back to the hotel a couple of nights and the kids swam. It was a little to cool for me but the kids liked it.

Last year we where there the third week of October and we had record highs in the 90's followed by record lows in the 60's. So we were wearing as little as possible for the first few days and buying extra sweatshirts for a couple of the next days. We have gone in Oct about 5 times and I can remember one other trip that was long pants and sweatshirts otherwise it has always been shorts weather.

I'm a FL girl..It will most likely be warm- very warm. But I would definitely pack some light hoodies or sweaters cause at that time of year it could be chilly in the evening. FL weather is so unpredictable. the year before last we had to wear sweaters over our costumes and last year we wanted to take our costumes off, it was sweltering hot. It's really just the roll of the dice 'round here.
