Clothing for May

We are taking a cruise the first part of May and what should we bring for Clothing? Does it cold in May on the Sea? Should we bring jeans and sweetshirts?

I went last May and the weather was great, no need for any winter clothes or long pants! Some people say they need a sweater for the dining rooms and shows but I was never cold inside or outside.
